Parkway Chevrolet has NEVER not once called me offering me to bring in my vehicle for evaluation of the damage caused in their facilityI have not one message left by the service writerI would’ve gladly taken in my vehicle for evaluationNow after the hostility shown by Parkway I feel fear of retaliation from this angered service writerI do not want to take my vehicle to that facility because I would feel unsafe there
The service rental was very nice and comfortableThere was no damage done while the vehicle was in my possession, the accusation of damage is fraudulentParkway wouldn't release my vehicle to my husband until he signed and accepted responsibility of the ding that was on the *** prior to us having possession of itThis is FRAUD!
All I would like is for the damage caused to my vehicle by Parkway to get repaired and an apology from the service writerI guess his ego surpasses customer service for him
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint

Regards,

Mrs. [redacted] dropped off their vehicle for a recall, and as with most any recalls we offer a courtesy rental to them that [redacted] pays for so the client is not inconvenienced.

Mrs. [redacted] checked out one of our fully-loaded 2015 [redacted] as a courtesy vehicle while their vehicle was in for...

repair. As with all rental vehicles a detailed walk around and inspection sheet is provided and signed by the customer voluntarily in order to accept the vehicle. The [redacted] had no noted damage on it, as verified by the customer when they voluntarily signed the inspection sheet to receive the 2015 [redacted] courtesy rental car from Parkway Chevrolet.

Once the work on the [redacted]’s family vehicle was completed, we notified them that they could return the rental at their earliest convenience and get back in their own vehicle. They chose to arrive in the evening before we closed and brought the rental [redacted] into our service drive at Parkway Chevrolet. Upon inspection we noticed a very large and obvious dent in the [redacted] that had appeared sometime after the vehicle left Parkway Chevrolet, to which Mr. [redacted] claimed was already there, even though his wife had verified it was not when she received, and accepted the vehicle and voluntarily endorsed the condition of the vehicle with her own personal signature.

Several hours after receipt of their own vehicle from Parkway Chevrolet Mr. [redacted] called us to inform us that he had noticed damage to his vehicle that he claims was not previously there. 20 Calendar days have passed since Mr. [redacted] received his vehicle with the claimed damage, and we have offered to take a look at it but he has chosen to deny us that opportunity by refusing to come by Parkway Chevrolet so that we can even verify the damage.

Mr. [redacted] called me very upset, and informed us he believed were committing fraud, and other claims, and during which he also informed us that he had written service before, therefore did have some expertise in the matter of receiving vehicles and noting their condition. Upon the sharing of this information Mr. [redacted] voluntarily chose to share with me, I did speak in regards to his “Professional experience and accrued expertise” that he is already aware that once a vehicle leaved Parkway Chevrolet’s property, and enters a public roadway, I have no way to verify any damage that would or would not have been marked on the Bill of Lading that every single vehicle that comes through the service drive at Parkway Chevrolet would have. This discussion seemed to be one that Mr. [redacted] was not willing to voluntarily participate in, and he chose to terminate the phone call after some very foul and defaming comments made towards myself and Parkway Chevrolet, several hours after the vehicle left Parkway Chevrolet.

As one of the only family-owned ** retailers in the Houston Metro area our entire team strives to serve our customers the same way that we would desire to be served, unfortunately Mr. [redacted] has refused to give us the opportunity to even review his vehicle in person since the phone call he placed over 20 calendar days ago, or take responsibility for the [redacted] that was rented to the [redacted] family, and our team at Parkway, from myself as the Service Writer to Management has actively been seeking the opportunity to alleviate any concern with the Customer, with consideration to the paperwork and the mutual understanding that once a vehicle is received and taken away from Parkway Chevrolet, Parkway’s hands are involuntarily tied in regards to damage that was not notated by the client or Parkway.
