Don't go to this place, it is a rip off place just like their location in La Mesa. I had a TB test done, and I have always been negative but this girl said that it measured 20mm and I have to do chest Xray, she said that because they needed me to pay another $50 on top of $25 I paid on 7/27/16. I had a TB test done may of this year and it was negative, actually it has always been negative (i always had a TB test done because I used to volunteer at my daughter's school) I just couldn't get the results of May 2016 test because the surgery center that I've worked for merged with a company and closed the center and has all the stuff with corovan. Then when I had the Xray done, this stupid girl it was neative, DUH, I knew that all along, That's why there are not a lot of people going to their center, You should also read the online reviews for their brnch in La Mesa, this is a horrible, rip off place. PLS. DON'T GO TO THIS URGENT CARE

Review: I brought my 5 year old daughter into Urgent Care on Sunday afternoon around 2pm. This was the same day that the New England Patriots were playing the Denver Broncos for the NFL Semi-Finals. The receptionist and nursing staff were coming out to the waiting room about every few minutes to check on the game playing on the tv.

My daughter was clearly sick, running a high temp, and was visibly ill. We waited to be seen for about 2 hours. When we were finally seen, PA Brandon Wurns came into our room, did not introduce himself, shake my hand, or offer any cordial bedside manner.

He proceeded through the exam and said my daughters Flu Test came back positive. He began rattling off prescriptive jargon without explaining himself, and said that he did NOT recommend TamiFlu for my daughter. I said that I absolutely wanted her to be prescribed TamiFlu along with Tylenol & Motrin to break her 102.7 fever.

He left the room, came back, handed me two prescription papers, and literally sent us to reception without so much as a single explanation. He failed to explain any of the medication dosage to me. He failed to tell me what my daughter's weight converted to from pounds to kilograms, and he failed to note her kg weight on the prescription, thus giving me absolutely no indication of the correct way to give proper medication to my daughter. This could have resulted in a variety of bad things - overdosage, and other plausible outcomes.

My mother (a nurse for 35+ years) called Angela the "Office Manager" to complain on my behalf, as my mother is well aware of the serious implications of this type of negligence, especially when it comes to communicating medical prescriptions and dosage to a non-medical patient/guardian. Angela assured us that Mr. Wurns would be written up, this would be addressed, and that he would personally be calling me to apologize for this massive grievance.

I followed up with Urgent Care yesterday and left ANOTHER message for Angela to call me. I'm still waiting on that call.Desired Settlement: I would like to report Mr. Brandon Wurns to whatever medical board of CA that handles P.A. licenses so they're aware of the type of negligence that happened during my visit. I want him written up at Partners Urgent Care, and I want him to be EXTREMELY aware of the serious issue this could have caused. I want to remind him of his responsibility to practice responsibly and communicate with his patients in a way that they understand in order to avoid any potential risks or negative outcomes.
