Review: I would like to submit a formal complaint about Paseo Mail Stop of Camarillo, with owner Daniel Venegas.I have been a customer of their post office box service for a little over a month (signed up on January 31st 2014). Having paid $99.20 for a six-month period of service.Their posted hours are between 9:30-5:30pm yet every time I seem to go pick up my mail the doors are locked. I went in today around 5pm and the door was actually open this time, so I politely asked the owner (Daniel Venegas) about the procedure to obtaining a 24-hour access key. He jokingly said something to the effect of Oh, I dont know that depends how about $50? and then another customer walked in so I let him attend to them. Once the customer had left, I said I couldnt tell if you were joking or not, is that the real price for 24-hour access?At this point he began to point out that a recent break-in had occurred and acted like he was interrogating me as if I were responsible for the crime. This entire conversation caught me completely off-guard. I reassured him that Im sorry he had a break-in, but a simple not at this time answer to my 24-hour access question would have sufficed. He even commented that I should just get a PO Box instead and when I asked if that was because he was discontinuing his box service and he replied with its possible, not sure yet.Throughout the conversation he continued to belittle me and call me things like eBay boy in jest as if he wasnt taking the situation seriously. I professed that I was 100% serious and felt disrespected and belittled and no longer wanted to give him my business. I requested a refund but was declined. His girlfriend (as he introduced her) was in the room and silently indicating that I should leave. He appeared to be having a mental breakdown and the situation was escalating quickly. I feel I can no longer trust his ability to deliver my mail to me, not to mention his doors are frequently locked. I'm being held hostage by the fees I paid.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of remaining service months. (4 months is fine, totaling $66.13) so we can part ways and be done with this mess. It's clear he does not want my business there, which is fine but he can't have my money and push me away at the same time. Regardless of what his "no cancellation" contract says, he's also not behaving like a respectable business owner that treats his customers with loyalty and giving even a bare-minimum level of respect. He was way out of line with me.
