I purchased 2005 jeep liberty on 4/16/2014. Jeep would not start on 5/20/2014. Called and spoke with dealer would not help Called and left messages.I purchased a jeep liberty 2005 from tekcar on 4/16/2014. I was never given any copies of the paperwork I had signed for the jeep. It did not pass [redacted] so I called the dealer. He did pick up the car and fix the tires and a light that was out.It then passed. On 5/20/2014 my jeep would not start at work.I tried to jump the battery. I called the dealer and his response was they were not responsible for that.I then had a mechanic look at the jeep. He said the starter was no good. I proceeded to call the dealer later that night and left a message which did not get a response. I called again on 5/21/2014 and left a message and again no response. In the meantime on 5/20/2014 I texted the dealers son whom I had also dealt with when I was buying the car. He told me they are used cars. I then told him I thought according to the lemon law I had 90 days he then responded if I was willing to pay the 100 dollar deductible his dad would get me going on fixing the car. I never received a response after I left messages. I had to borrow the money to have the starter fixed by my mechanic. The mechanic also told me there was absolutely no oil in the car and I was lucky the engine didn't seize. He then changed the oil and said it was so bad I would have to have it changed in 400 miles instead of the normal 3000 miles. Then on 5/27/2014 my jeep would not start again. My mechanic looked at it again and put it on the diagnostic computer and told me the computer on the jeep needed to be replaced and it would cost 250 to have replaced if I got the part from a junkyard. I have very little money and am unable to fix it. I have only had the car a month and few weeks and I am having all sorts of problems with the car. I also feel the financing is misused. The dealers asking price was 6995 and I am stuck paying almost 12,000 after the interest and other charges which I was not aware of. I believe tekcars business practices are misleading and unprofessional. I do not want this happening to someone else and I believe the dealer should be responsible for the cost of the repairs or buy the jeep back. It is unuseable and unsafe.Desired SettlementI would like the cost of the repairs or the dealer to buy back the vehicle. Business Response Its been settled, just a misunderstanding, thanks [redacted]
