Review: I am a new small business owner and have recently signed a contract to advertise on both the Oxford and Southbury Patch. I was told my ad would appear everyday and be permanently displayed on the patch site. I also understood these would be created professionally with a method that would provide easy changes. Issues: 1) Terms of contract not met - ad not online within specified timeframe - then ad places without my business name 2) What I was told after complaining about ads not appearing online on Patch - ads are timed to display every 4th click. This is not valid as myself and others have tried by refreshing screen and ad not showing after 25 refreshes on Oxford Patch and every 15 or so on Southbury Patch. I have written twice and spoke to salesperson with no satisfaction. 2) Additionally, the salesperson is setting up the ads herself using templates. These templates are crude and not able to be modified by salesperson to show my business information as desired. I worked with salesperson but she could not adjust to have ad provide my business name and address or to add my logo, add what I wished to display. I did not agree to have a template called 'Bubbles' to represent my business. Not only was service misrepresented but my branding and image in the community is being jeopardized by these ads. I have signed a monthly contract for six months that states non cancellation. I called main number to reach salesperson and left messages - there is no person available at this subsidiary of AOL to address a complaint to. I just left message for salesperson that she has not addressed my issues and I need an address to request cancellation.Desired Settlement: I just want to cancel for future months

Review: My issue started when I signed a contract for advertisment services and I noticed I wasn't getting any of the services I was promised. I purchased a 25% share of a advertisement slot which means every fouth click to the the Patch, my ad is seen. My salesman, [redacted], stated the monthly visits to the Garden City Patch was 155 thousand and my 25% purchase would come out to my ad being displayed 35 thousand times PER MONTH. So from March to July my add was show 17 thousand time total. My purchased also included a blog site, a business listing, an ask the Local pro, question and aswers page along with mobil impressions. So far, I was told Mobil impressions were never included and I shouldn't of assumed it was, even though [redacted] did the math and he told me that it would be 35k impressions included in the "deal" he was giving me, the ask the local pro question and answers page doesn't exist and they don't know where I came up with that, my business listing took 2 months to even appear and the blog took about 2 months to get everything going once they figured out the correct links to send me. Artwork and ad design is included in my contract as well and that seem to never get done. When I first questioned [redacted] about the poor performance of the ad, I was told by [redacted] that my ad "sucked and he would never click it if he was a consumer" so the correction took a month because [redacted] went on vacation, leaving and ad up which in his words said "it sucked" behind in his wake with no follow through or anyone to finalize the ad in his absence. So I had to pay for that month the ad was never being worked on. So to recap I sent the new images and the gutts of the ad to [redacted] on June [redacted], another email sent on june [redacted] with no reply another email sent on [redacted] no reply, the [redacted] no reply, then on the [redacted] I get an email stating HE denied my ad design( which he can't do), end of the day on the [redacted] still no where final ad designed and accepted on July [redacted]. Completely unacceptable. On July [redacted] after receiving my latest data sheet, I expressed unhappiness with [redacted]( 8 clicks in 3 mnths), and was extreamly nasty to me on the phone basically telling me to bad it is what it is and he sent a letter to [redacted] to create a new ad because the new which he "approved" didn't work out at all. During the same period of time I have reached out to [redacted] and he has done minimal to zero rectifying the issue. So as of today, the new "super" ad which was started on July [redacted] has never materialized as of todays date, I have zero performance, I am still paying my bill and I have had zero business and only 8 clicks to my website since May. if you do the math, those 8 clicks to my site has cost us almost $200.00 each, with weeks upon weeks of agravation and bs just to get it up and running and fighting to get the promised changes applied in a timely fashion. They have dropped the ball the entire time and it has been at my expenseDesired Settlement: I wish to be completely refunded and released from my contract because there was never a point when all of my services were up and running at the same time.

Review: I asked for [redacted], [redacted] for Patch Media to kindly remove an image of me from a story written about a grant I had gotten for the community several years ago . See link below

I explained to [redacted] that the image has been hotlinked and used on lewd and misleading sites

I explained that I was also a victim of gang and cyber stalking and he could leave the story but to remove the image that I once held as a township official. I am being harassed and my image is showing up on some very disturbing sites. I'd like it removed so that this will prevent from any further harassment and fear. [redacted] is not being cooperative but is Enabling these horrible sotes to use my image. I am not sure if he is running a pinzi scheme or part of this, any normal person with a heart would simply re.I've the image and not want to see a person suffering and fearing where their image is being posted. I am no longer an elected official, and the story is old, yet my image is being reposted and put on lewd sites. This is poor practices of Patch Media and someone who has a title of regional editor. I would have no problem if this image wasnt being inappropriately placed on lewd and msleading sites. The only way to prevent this is to remove the image where the source is from and that is the patch story about me getting a grant for the township.Desired Settlement: I want my image removed from the patch story. A few months ago we set up a placement for advertising our production of [redacted] the [redacted] at [redacted]

To make a long story short the venue’s restoration was not complete and we cancelled the advertising run with the [redacted],namely a one [redacted]who assured us that everything would be taken care of.Well,1,500 dollars was charged to our co founder,[redacted] bank account,and after many calls and assurances from [redacted],no monies have been refunded.This has gone on for a month at least and our patience is over.We want the 1,500 dollars restored to [redacted] bank account asap,and once that has happened,will will be satisfied.This is just poor customer service to say the least.Please rsvp!Desired Settlement: 1,500 dollars taken out of my bank account RESTORED to it ASAP

Review: Patch Media was hired on the premises that they were able to bring us several new patients a month, and drive more traffic to our website. Patch has not delivered at all; the ads are RARELY seen by any of our patients or current staff who have been told to "be on the lookout" for these ads for this particular reason. I spoke with [redacted] at Patch who was very rude and stated that they are doing all they can for us which we have to disagree on because when questioning all new patients over the past several months, not a single one has come from Patch Media advertising. It is not financially worth it for [redacted] to do costly business with anyone that is not producing the promised results.Desired Settlement: We would like to cancel all business with Patch Media without any fees. Review: I have been trying to get Patch to remove a story that has been posted online. The story is false and misleading and both [redacted] and [redacted] have told me that it is PATCH that needs to remove the story in order for [redacted] to deindex the site. No one is returning or responding to my call. Whoever is behind this is using this story to purposely defame my name by saying that I am scheduled to be in court next month. The inside link to the snippet when click goes to a [redacted] Patch 404 Error Site. I would appreciate if they would remove this story and stop playing games. Both [redacted] and [redacted] have said this is unprofessional and Patch should remove the snippet, especially since it is linked to a 404 error. Below is what comes up when you [redacted]: [redacted]. They also have the story posted now at the top of the search engine. When you click the link [redacted], you will find a 404 Error. Review: I signed a contract for online advertising with The Patch after being promised several very specific items by my sales person and his manager. The items that I was promised were not delivered and I requested that my contract be cancelled when it became clear that the problems were not going to be fixed. The contract that I signed includes a cancellation clause that very clearly states that the contract may be cancelled by either party if a material breach of the contract occurs. I have made several requests to have my contract cancelled, but The Patch refuses to cancel it and continues to charge my credit card in excess of $1,200/month. This has been going on since mid May, so they have been charging me for the last 4 months. I have received several emails from the Patch acknowledging that I am not being delivered what I was promised and can very easily provide the documentation supporting the validity of my complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like my contract cancelled and expect a full refund of all charges since my initial cancellation request.
