Patina Shoe Parlor Reviews (6)

Review: When [redacted] of Patina Shoe Parlor had a store space (approximately two years ago), I gave him a legal-themed chess set that I manufacture, on consignment. Since then, I have repeatedly asked for the set back, as he no longer has space in a shop, and except for a response on Facebook, he has not responded to multiple emails, phone calls or a letter sent by my attorney (who also emailed him). The set costs $450 for me to produce, and I would like it back, or the value of the set paid back to me.Desired Settlement: As I gave Mr. [redacted] the chess set on consignment over two years ago, I would like the set returned to me in sellable condition, or the $450 it cost me to produce the chess set. I have emails and receipts from both Mr. [redacted] and UPS acknowledging that the set was received by him.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Patina Shoe Parlor regarding complaint ID 10130556, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Patina Shoe Parlor has contacted me via Facebook with the following message on August 3, 2014:

"[redacted], at this time, we no longer wish to engage in any capacity with you based upon your allegations. We strongly encourage you to move forward accordingly."

It seems they have no desire to resolve the dispute amicably.

Sincerely,

Review: On May 17, 2014, I paid Patina Shoe Parlor $131.35 by check to repair a black suede purse and replace heels on 2 pair of suede ankle boots and stretch a pair of black suede flats. [redacted]e, the owner, came to my house because he says he does pickups and delivery rather than having a store front. He told me he would return my items in about a week and a half. On May 26, he emailed me telling me that he was delayed. On June 9, I spoke to him and emailed him because I had not received the items. He said he asked an employee to deliver the shoes and I should have received them. On June 10, he replied but hadn't located my shoes. On June 12, he texted me telling me he located my shoes and would try to deliver them the next day. He did contact me but I was going out of town and wasn't around he wanted to meet me. Since this date, he hasn't returned my texts or phone message. I also started probing into his customer service on Facebook and discovered that there are other customer who are dissatisfied because of similar circumstances. I saved emails and text messages to support my complaint.Desired Settlement: At this point I want my purse and shoes back and I would like my money refunded. I also want others to know how he treats his customers. I would hate for anyone else to have the experience I did because I am out $131.35 and don't have my items back either. In my opinion this is stealing.

Review: I hired [redacted] or Patina Shoe Parlor to fix 5 pairs of heels/shoes. He picked up my shoes per his company policy/service. I paid him. At the time I found this slightly odd to pay in advance but we know many people in common and he appeared to have a busy business. Well long and behold 7-10 passed and [redacted] has not only blocked my calls, he has not returned a single email, text, message, facebook requests for the return of my property. This man has stolen not only my money but my shoes!Desired Settlement: I would like my shoes and my money ($245 returned)

Review: I gave Patina Shoe Parlor a pair of shoes and paid $110 in advance for service. It has now been over three weeks and the company has not responded to any emails, phone calls, or messages. I'm afraid I have lost my shoes and my money.Desired Settlement: I want my shoes back and my $110 payment returned.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Patina Shoe Parlor regarding complaint ID 10186271, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The business owner stated my shoes would be delivered 9/10/14. The shoes were not delivered and he has not responded to any emails or calls inquiring about them. I was also told not to contact the business or they would pursue legal action against me.

Sincerely,

Review: [redacted] with Patina Shoe Parlor picked up my shoes on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. At than time, [redacted] assured me that my shoes would be returned within 7-10 days. On October 3, I received an e-mail stating that "due to extremely high volumes" Mr. [redacted] was running behind schedule. On October 14, I emailed [redacted] to inquire about the status of my shoe repair. I did not receive a response. On Sunday, October 20, Mr. [redacted] returned my phone calls and promised that my shoes would be returned Monday, October 21. When I had not received my shoes by 2:00pm on Monday, I called Mr. [redacted] and left a message. At 4:00pm,I drove to [redacted], the address listed on Patina Shoe Parlor's website, to retrieve my shoes and a refund only to discover that Patina Shoe Parlor had not been located there for four (4) months. While at the former location of the store, I tried to contact Mr. [redacted] by phone. He did not answer. At 4:50, I left a message and sent an e-mail informing Mr. [redacted] that I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com if my shoes were not returned by Tuesday, October 22 at 9:00am.Desired Settlement: I would like my shoes returned and a refund of the eighty dollars I paid for the service.

At this time, my complaint, ID 9773218 regarding Patina Shoe Parlor has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: Mr. [redacted] picked up two pairs of boots from me on December 10th, 2013 to repair. He has a pick up and delivery shoe repair service. I was told that I had to pay the total in advance, and that I should get the "executive" package. That package was for three pair, and he would do the third pair at a later date. I gave him a personal check for $245.25, which he cashed immediately. I have left three phone messages, and seen Mr. [redacted] in person on one occasion, and asked for my boots. To date, 2/17/2014, I have yet to receive a call back, or receive my boots. I have spoken to multiple people, friends and co-workers, that have all had the exact same problem. Now the winter is over and I have not gotten my boots, my money or even a return phone call. I believe Mr. [redacted] is a fraud at best, and quite possibly a criminal.Desired Settlement: I want my boots returned to me immediately, whether repaired or not. I also want a refund for the third pair, to have been done at a later date, because I do not believe they would ever be completed. If my boots are repaired in a quality manner, I am happy to pay for them. If Mr. [redacted] has not completed the job, I will take them back and have a full refund. I will pay someone legitimate repair them,
