Patriot Buick Pontiac GMC, Inc. Reviews (3)

I had purchased a 2015 GMC from Patriot of Boyertown PA in late June of 2016. During the time of purchase I made sure to specify that I was from out of state working and to be assured that I could rely on Patriot to handle the proper documentation for having the truck registered in Tennessee. After receiving a quick "yes" I proceeded with the purchase (taxes and all). The day my temp. tags expired I called and asked if my Tennessee tags have arrived for me to pick up yet. The response I received was that they were still waiting on the tags to arrive and to "just change one of the numbers on the temp tag" which sounds a bit illegal to me. Here we are July 26 and I received a phone call saying there was an error in their system and that I owe more money for taxes and that I have to finalize my registration in Tennessee.

Review: I ordered parts from this business online @ gmpartshouse.com on 8/1/12. They said the parts were on backorder, but have failed to keep in contact with me. Almost a whole year has passed. I can not get an answer from them. I called and they put me on hold for 20 minutes then disconnected the line, I also left messages and E-mails have not been returned. Numerous attempts have been made to resolve this on my end. The last response from them was over a month ago, and they claimed that they would look into it, but never got back to me.Desired Settlement: I would like my parts or a full refund. Or simply an answer as to what is going on? I feel that I have been more than patient with them and that I'm being treated unfairly.

Review: My complaint is two fold:

1)Won an auction ([redacted] #[redacted]) at 5:09pm on 8/6/13. Auction was never canceled, and was left open the entire time. Regardless, there was no mention of any exclusions in the listing anyway. Auction was completed, where I was the high bidder. I called to arrange for deposit, for which the person I talked to was very nice and took my information and said someone would call me right back. A few minutes later, I received an email saying "Thank you for your bid, however the car was sold locally." Seemed very suspicious, as it was right after I called, and that the auction had not already been closed. Obviously whoever follows their auction was following it close enough to send me a message right away, but conveniently didn't take the auction down when the vehicle was supposedly sold. It is my opinion that the dealership did not actually sell this vehicle, but rather refused to honor the auction because they felt the value was not high enough, or less than they were hoping. Only way to prove this would be to see a copy of the bill of sale - if it shows it was sold prior to 5:09PM on 8/6, then I stand corrected.

2)After receiving this cancelation email, I called the dealership to express my suspicions and my concern for how this was handled. I was transferred to a [redacted], who I later found out is the General Manager. This is very disturbing considering how my discussion with him went. When I told him of my experience and my concern. he told me that he "didn't care". I then told him that he would care when I reported it. His response to this was "report it to who?" I told him [redacted] and the Revdex.com, to which his response was: "I do 3/4 of a million dollars of sales on [redacted], so I could care less". I told him that it was amazing to me that he didn't care what his customers thought, to which his response was: "you ain't one of my customers". I agreed that I would definitely not be a future customer of theirs, asked what his name was, then ended the call. In my opinion, [redacted]'s response and reaction to my concern seems to validate that the vehicle was not sold prior to this. If this is incorrect, then a more professional explanation would have alleviated any questions and most concerns. Since [redacted] is the General Manager, I just wanted to make sure the true ownership of the dealer knows how they are being represented by [redacted]. In the end, his communications only escalated the situation rather than try to calm it.Desired Settlement: Customer service is very important these days. Regardless of how this vehicle transaction went down and whether it was truly sold prior to auction close as I was told, I did not appreciate the way [redacted] talked to me. I disagree with his premise that I'm "not a customer of his". He may think that since I don't live in PA that he's never going to sell a car to me, but I currently own 6 vehicles and not one of them was bought locally in IN. I would like to see acknowledgement of my concern here, in the hopes that future customer interactions at Patriot like mine can be avoided.
