About 5 years ago I found myself with nowhere to live. I had heard some good things about Patty Seaman homes so I went in and sat down with Mike. I didn't have very much for a down payment and I'm on disability so my income is very low. Mike asked me what I could afford to pay every month, I told him and he had me in a house within 72 hours. He made the impossible, possible for me. He's a very kind and generous man. I would recommend Patty Seaman homes to anyone.

This is a completely inaccurate statement of events. The home was purchased by Sylvia. Sylvia had a balance of $2000.00 left on the purchase. informed that there was a $2000.00 balance that needed to be paid before a title to the home was issued. Sylvia said the home was paid in full not the office. He was also informed that our sales deal was with Sylvia alone and his dealings were with her as far as moving ect. Not with Patty Seaman Homes. We had no contract with this man. When you purchase a home it needs to be paid in full before title is issued. If you sell to a third party the balance still needs to be paid.

Review: My husband and I purchased a new [redacted] from Patty Seaman Homes almost a year ago. We have had several things go wrong with it and have called and left messages for the owner [redacted] to please call us back to get things resolved. Finally his secetary calls back a few days later and says she would have [redacted] call me back. Still nothing. There is a leak behind the shower in the wall and is causing the casing on the bathroom door to mold and is ruining the wood. The rest of the problems we have had with the [redacted] even under warranty, we have to fix ourselves. The reason that we purchased a brand new house is so we din't have problems and if so there would be someone to take care of them. We are tired of the run around and the promise to keep us happy if we purchased a trailer from him.Desired Settlement: We would like [redacted] to fix the things that are wrong before it causes more damage to the trailer. And to do it without change even if the warranty has run out because he was notified of the problems before hand.

The items that needed repair were done at the customers request. Our service man scheduled an appointment with the customer and she was not home when he got there. They had to schedule another time. Sometimes customers have to understand that during our busy season it may take a bit of time to get the repair man out to their home but we always take pride in taking care of our customers and warranty issues. The [redacted] have been taken care of and all repairs were complete.

I worked with Mike who dropped everything to get my application filled out and submitted. I was looking to finance a single wide on a single income, and chose the larger of the two fleetwood models. He helped me get an interest rate of 7.24% with 15% down. 7% was the lowest the mortgage company offered. He discounted my trailer to ensure financing was possible based on my borderline declined debt/income ratio. Within 3 weeks of going there, my application was being approved and house being moved. He worked with the mobile home park owner to get me moved quickly and painlessly. He went the extra mile to ensure the experience was as good as it could be based on having to commute 10 miles to work each day for a more affordable lot. Since was a personal friend of the park owner, and knew I had limited income, he arranged a discount on the rent for a couple months while I got on my feet. Before it was all said and done, he gave me the option of a different decor and updated the lender with the other serial number.
