left side of the property line. Austin Z[redacted] from my office is the person handling and running the job.We were referred to Ms. [redacted] by her insurance company when she filed a claim for damage to the wall. Mr. Z[redacted] prepared an estimate to replace the wall as it stood at the time it fell over. When the claim was denied by the insurance carrier Ms. [redacted] contracted with us to replace the wall anyways. The estimate that was written and submitted to the carrier was to replace the wall with like kind and quality, IE a concrete block retaining wall four courses high. Review: The owner Mr. [redacted] does nothing but lie. He would tell us one thing and say he never told us that. We had a fire in the kitchen, damage to the kitchen and smoke damage to the first floor, that was on June 28, 2013 we were told the job would take 4-6 weeks. We went to a hotel which was taken care of by our insurance company. Well lie after lie and delay after delay we moved back in November 6, 2013, even our insurance company was questioning the length of time. They would tell us they were working and we would go to the house and no one had been there. Mr. [redacted] would give us figures and they would constantly change, we would ask for an explanation and just get the run around, they were very good with playing with figures! They stained our carpet but had the insurance company pay for it, they chipped our bathroom sink, we were supposed to have a new pedestal for our bar, well the granite company came on Dec.3 2013 to install the countertop and there was no pedestal, finally on December 20, 2013 the came and grabbed the old pedestal from the garage the and reused it, they never even bothered to clean it! When we moved in Nov. 6, we had plywood countertop and temporary sink, it was like pulling teeth to be able to get back home. Here it is Jan 13,2014 and my husband and I finished the painting, lighting, and backsplash. The bottom line is they can,t be trusted, I wish we never let them in our home. Our cabinets are not the same quality, we,ve spoken to them about all this and they don,t seem to care.I could go on and on. I would never recommend them. I have filed complaints with the insurance company and [redacted] who recommended them.Desired Settlement: The job is unsatisfactory, I feel we should be issued a refund amongst other things.
