PVR was such an awesome addition to our wedding day, not only as our photographer, but as a person! Not only he make us feel at super relaxed and comfortable during the engagement session and wedding, but we where blown away when we received our imagesI wish I had another reason to hire him! We are hoping to do a maternity shoot soon=) We took a lot of care in selecting our vendors and I know its challenging to pick a photographer with so many out there, but Paul is in a league of his ownIf you hire him you wont be sorry My husband and I wish we lived in Orange County so we could find an excuse to hang out with him regularlyOne more thing worth mentioning; He is super low key during the weddingHe and his assistant blended in perfectly to the wedding, almost like they where guestsThis made all the difference to us, we didn't want to feel like we where being chased by photographers all dayWe are so pleased with our experience and can't recommend him enough

If you're looking for a photographer who is going to photograph your wedding in an amazing way then Paul is your guyHe shot both our engagement session and wedding dayHe was really easy to work with, very organized and professional, but also very fun at the same timeI've had incredible amounts of people ask who our photographer was because the images are just so beautifulThe images were delivered via an online gallery and a fast digital downloadThe majority were color, but we did get quite a few B&Ws as well, which suits me fineI love black and whiteImage turn around was reasonable considering he shoots a mix of ACTUAL film and digitalI couldn’t be happier with my decision to hire PaulDo yourself a favor and hire him or you will likely disappointed in the long run (I say this solely based off of knowing I have the best looking wedding photos of all of my friendsHaha)=)

Review: [redacted] was hired to be my wedding photographer on 8/30/213. He arrived and took the pictures in a professional manner. Our contract states that he was supposed to deliver the wedding photographs 8 months after the date of our wedding, or we were owed a full refund. Today is May 21, 2014, nearly 9 months later. We have a small portion of the photographs (approx 250), but none of the wedding ceremony itself or the reception. The last correspondence I have from him is Feb 24, 2014 assuring me that he would deliver the remaining photographs in the upcoming week. Further efforts to contact him have not generated a response from [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like the rest of the high resolution edited wedding pictures delivered to us. I would also like a refund as stated in the contract.

Review: I hired [redacted] Von Rieter to photograph an engagement session in April 2013 and my wedding in June 2013. [redacted] did a wonderful job on the engagement session and we received our photos in a timely matter. However, we did not receive any wedding pictures. We paid for services in full and [redacted] is now 4 months in breach of contract. This week, we will celebrate our one year anniversary, with no photos to look back on. I sent many emails, left numerous voicemails, and tweeted at him, all to no avail. Yet, in the meantime, [redacted] continued to post to his photography blog (http://paulvonrieter.com/blog/), tweet wedding photos (https://twitter.com/PaulVonRieter), and he even attended the Wedding & Portrait Photography Conference at the beginning of March this year (https://twitter.com/PaulVonRieter/status/[redacted]), which proves that he is still working in the industry, but could not find the time or care to return our photos, or at least email or call with an update. The following are excerpts from all the email updates I received from [redacted] since our June 2013 wedding: On July 7, 2013, "I have you scheduled for a July 16th completion date on my work flow chart. So I would expect images that week." On November 16, 2013, "I am way better now and hard at work editing like a crazy man. I plan on having my entire plate cleared by the week of thanksgiving. That means wedding pictures very soon!!!" On February 8, 2014, "Hey guys. I will have them out before the end of next week. Likely Wednesday evening. No if ands or buts." The last email I sent was on May 8, 2014 requesting an update, but I have heard no response. This is such an unfortunate and disappointing situation as we really liked [redacted]. We have had to apologize many times over to family members who feel disrespected. We trusted [redacted] to document one of the most important days of our lives and are left with this frustrating, embarrassing, and disruptive ordeal -- and no wedding pictures. [redacted], PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE US OUR WEDDING PICTURES!!!Desired Settlement: I am requesting from [redacted] Von Rieter Photography all pictures taken by [redacted] Von Rieter of our wedding on June 8, 2013, including all raw image files and any edited images. These are the original service terms set forth in the contract which [redacted] wrote and that I signed and paid for in full. [redacted], PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE US OUR WEDDING PICTURES!!!
