I spoke with [redacted] from the business. [redacted] has been working with the county concerning the permits. They have a crew scheduled to go to the customer's home to take care of the warranty work that still needs to be done.

They are in the process of resolving the issues, but they are not...

Review: [redacted] reached out to our office to notify us of a separate issue regarding another contract to install a deck in October 2013. Customer states building permits have not been obtained for the deck.Desired Settlement: Obtain all required building permits and fix any issues that do not pass code per the Building Inspector.

Regards,

Review: My job started on October 1st and was to be completed by October 21st, 2013on December 15th, 2013, they were still in my home and I had to inform them that I would be contacting [redacted] , where their office is located in Ashland, and make them aware of the poor communication and lack of integrity. Once they get your money they think that they do not have to honor their contract. I paid them almost $50,000 and my front porch that they were paid $4000.00 to rebrick and complete masonry work is already falling apart and the custom back door that they installed has a large gap at the top and was not provided enough support when hung. Then in the end of January they emailed me with a bill from November, 2013 addressed to them for glass doors that were put in my bathroom, which they were paid $10,000.00 to remodel, asking me to pay the bill. Now I have left them one message to come back and fix the work that I have a 1 year warranty on, let's see if I have to take them to [redacted] or they do the right thing?Desired Settlement: I want the work fixed properly and in an orderly amount of time with communication made between myself and the business owner to schedule the work to be fixed when someone is at my home to oversee.

I spoke with [redacted] from the business and he stated that the door in the back and front porch are being taken care of under the warranty. The shower door is not in his contract or the bathroom remodel price and the consumer was told that they would have to pay out of pocket for that door.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

First and foremost, I have requested as of yet no repairs to my bathroom, under my warranty. I do not owe this company any money nor will they receive any more money from me. They finally complete my job after being forced to and then 2 months after the date on a bill submitted to their company for glass shower doors that leak and a shower curtain has to be utilized anyway and that they were paid to install in my bathroom, they try to send me a bill that they have not paid. Mute issue on that subject, perhaps [redacted] can ask [redacted] to take the $ 800.00 boat seat that he took from my husband and sell that to pay their bills. The issues at hand, after 2 months of my initial contact with their company in January 2014, [redacted] came to my home on Tuesday, 3/25 and was there for a whole 3 minutes. Told my husband that he would send somebody to fix the door and that they would fix the front porch. My husband was given no dates, no times and [redacted] made no arrangements with us to have these items taken care of. I need dates and times from [redacted] for repair, first so that I can ensure someone is here, they do not have permission to come on my property without making me aware of the fact and second if he does not contact us to make these arrangements in 3 business days I am also forwarding this to [redacted]. I am completely aware that the front porch should be fixed when the weather warms up but let's get the job on his schedule and ours now because otherwise the process could take 6 months according to their past track record of not completing a job that they informed me would take twenty days but actually took 80 days. There is no reason that the back door cannot be fixed but he has not contacted us to make any arrangements about that since being here on Tuesday, March 25th. I expect a phone call to make these arrangements before close of business on Tuesday, March 31st or I am forwarding to [redacted] and making the corporate headquarters for [redacted] aware of how a company that advertises in their stores does business.

I would like to get this resolved. [redacted] was billed for a shower door that was installed in her home and has yet to pay for it. Our office has been waiting for her to pay for the shower door before addressing any warranty issues. Pavie Construction will be taking care of the warranty issues. We have been in contact with the homeowners and we are scheduled to meet with them to discuss all warranty issues.

Best Regards,

President

[redacted] made an appointment with us yesterday, 4/8/14 to meet this evening 4/9/14 @ 6:00 p.m. and then sends an email informing me he is cancelling. This has been a constant pattern with this company and I have forwarded this email to [redacted] as well.
