Paws n' Play Pet Cabana

Review: This business moved from a prior location, it is the same business owned and operated by the same woman with all the same telephone information, she just changed the name slightly. In October 2014 the owner Suzette called me for an appointment for grooming my cockapoo, my dog was badly injured during the visit which required emergency vet attention within minutes of leaving her business. I notified her immediately, and sent a copy of the vet bill to Suzette along with a phone call to make sure she received the bill. She assured me that she would get a check in the mail right away, this was over 3 months ago. I have since contacted her and she still promises to send a check every time I speak with her, she finally got really rude and told me she had not gotten paid from her new business and would be paying me back from those proceeds. She texted me this information on 1/15/15. I waited until the 24th of January to try and contact her again as I had not received payment yet. She still says she is waiting on her pay from paws n play pet cabana, to pay this bill from her old business. She moved as soon as this happened and did not contact me with any information of where the business went to. This is not the first time she has hurt others pets, her facebook page for pet cabana has lots of bad reviews for the same reason. I assume that is why she up and ran off to a new location and slightly changed the name of the business. It would be much cheaper to settle this now as she has promised on many occasions than to file in small claims court, which I plan on doing if we cant resolve this matter through the Revdex.com. I feel she should be reported for animal cruelty and am looking into the licensing board and the [redacted] for help as well with this matter.Desired Settlement: To be honest I would like her to refund the $80 emergency vet bill asap so we can finally settle this matter. I feel that she is a very irresponsible groomer, she has told untruths and not followed through with anything she has promised to do about this matter since she was made aware of it in October 2014 the day of the incident. I plan to file in small claims court if we cant reach an agreement through the Revdex.com. I would rather not have to do that as it will result in court costs ect.
