Review: I purchase a $15 dollar subway gift card for someone with a region visa debit bank card at one of pay less supermarket inc. grocery store location at [redacted] appalchia,va. [redacted]. what happen was I purchase two $15 subway gift card gift cards that day. well second subway gift card was no good cause I wAS TOLD AFTER SECOND SUBWAY GIFT CARD got activated from employee there that there was a problem with second one cause the employee inform me that someone somhow activated the gift card before I purchase it. do not know how people go In and get number off back gift card. then active it without taking gift card out store. so the employee of pay less store decided sense that happen, the employee said they just reissues me another $15 dollar subway gift card that was not activated yet. which would a 3rd gift card as a replacement for second gift card that was no good. I was fine with that. then employee who was in charge of activating $15 subway gift card said the gift card was good and handed. an I trusted employee word on it. so I left pay less store at [redacted] appalachia,va. [redacted]. in afternoon time. so I mailed $15 subway gift card in the mailbox to person I buyed gift card for to a lady name [redacted] in [redacted],mo. lady I gifted gift card to and mailed to notify me after week later right after receiving it in mailbox. lady I gifted to [redacted] in [redacted],mo notify me by email that when she went to st.joseph subway restraint store location in Missouri that employee inform her that $15 subway gift card was not validated subway gift card. I also mail receipt with $15 subway gift card to lady [redacted] I gifted to. finding out after I reply back to [redacted] by email about $15 subway gift card I mailed her. I find out after [redacted] mails me back receipt and gift card bac at my address: [redacted]. that receipt that store give me when I left pay less store location at [redacted] Appalachia,va.[redacted]. did not same number on back card. I did notice this about receipt for gift card cause I was trusting employee at store on there every word that card was good to use. now I know next time when purchase a gift card to look at receipt to check number on receipt to make they are matching number make gift card to if validated after purchasing it at grocery store. so after this innocedent happen with $15 Subway gift that I purchase to buy as gift lady [redacted] in st.joseph,mo. I notify pay less grocery store MANAGER AT PAYLESS GROCERY STORE LOCATION AT [redacted],APPALACHIA,VA. [redacted] TO Notify payless store manager about $15 Subway gift card being invalidated and told store manager what happen. then I ask would store reissue me a new $15 subway gift card due to gift card I purchase at their store was not validated. store said due store policey they do not do refund or reissue gift cards. store manager advise me call store owner in [redacted],va. that owe pay less supermarket incorp. stores. so store manager of pay less grocery store give me owner number and company store owner name [redacted] about honor me replacement $15 subway gift card. so I contacted pay less supermarket incorp. store owner [redacted] by phone about $15 subway gift card I purchase at one one store location at [redacted]. Appalachia,va [redacted]. I explain situation to pay less company store owner [redacted] over phone and told I found out gift card purchased from one store location was not validated and can not use at subway restraint store cause it did not get invalidated at store. I told store owner over phone I did not know subway gift card I purchase with region visa debit bank card at one store owner store location in Appalachia,va. at [redacted]. that I did not that subway gift did get validated after I purchase it. cause I trusted employee word at store that $15 subway gift card was good and validated. so pay less store owner [redacted] said over phone that he would look into it and find found out what happen. then storw owner said over phone that he call me after looking onto it. so I give hime my frind number call me back. so after 30 minutes did not hear from pay less store owner I call store owner [redacted] back. pay less store owner [redacted] said over phone to me [redacted] that I needed to prove I purchase it and asked me if I still had $15 subway gift card I said yes. then compay store owner [redacted] asked how purchase it I said with region visa debit bank card. I explained I am caretaker to pay less store owner [redacted] that I go to local payless store to buy stuff for my aunt [redacted] that I take care of and do my error. I explained I use region visa debit gift card to pay for stuff that my aunt me get for her with region visa debit bank card. he aske me did I have receipt I said no cause I mailed with $15 subway gift card that was supposed to be validated cause I purchase for someone. but I told hime I have $15 subway gift card on me where it was mailed back to me from person I gifted to. I told pay less store owner I do not have receipt as right now cause I mailed that with $15 subway gift card to person I gift card to. then I told pay less company store owner [redacted] over phone that I would email [redacted] back the person I gifted to, I would ask [redacted] the person I buy gift card for and mailed to I would email her to mail me receipt back at my address. then pay less store owner [redacted] said over phone after I get receipt to give store manager at Appalachia,va. store location where I live. I said okay over phone to pay less company store owner [redacted] that I will try get receipt back from person I mailed gift cARD TO. I also told payless company store owner [redacted] that I just want resolve matter and I want pay less store owner [redacted] to come up with solution to resolve matter of problem, reissue me a new card that validated. then I hang up phone and I went to notify [redacted] by email the person I purchase gift card for at store and mailed to. I told [redacted] I need receipt back that I maileded her with $15 subway gift card I mailed to her. so I got response back from [redacted] by email saying she still had store receipt where I purchase $15 subway gift card from and said she will mail back to me in email response she reply back to me. so week later I received pay less store receipt back in mail from [redacted] the I purchase gift card for. I took pay less store receipt and $15 subway gift card that was no good back to pay less store manager [redacted] at [redacted]., Appalachia,va. [redacted] pay less store location. payless store manager [redacted] said he would give to pay less company store owner [redacted] the receipt and $15 subway gift card today to store owner to look into it. I went back today june.2,2013 to follow up with store manager [redacted] to see what pay less store owner said about gift card,receipt I return and if pay less store owner [redacted] would reissue me [redacted] a new replacement of $15 dollar subway gift card. payless store manager in Appalachia,va. [redacted] pay less store location said nothing he could do about reissue me a newsubway gift card right now. I have contact payless supermarket incorp. company store owner [redacted] again about it. nothing still has not been done about reissue me a new gift card from payless grocery store. I think store does want owe up to their employee mistake and to busy saving their own hindend ten fixing problem and reolving matter. meaning payless store and store owner [redacted] in [redacted],va. does what come up with solution to solve problem far as reissue me a replacement of a new $15 dollar subway gift catf that is validayed and good use. highly recoommed no consumer go to this store location far as buying gift cards from payless grocery store at [redacted],appalachia,va.[redacted]. cause consumer will take risk losing money from buying gift card at this payless grocery store location on top might get scam from payless grocery store Appalachia location due to one payless store employee meant mess up on gift card by maybe not accidently not vaildATED YOUR GIFT CARD. THEN YOU FIND OUT IT NOT VAILDATE AFTER PURCHASING GIFT CARD AND GO BACK THE EMPLOYEE WILL NOT OWE UP TOMISTAKE O0R STORE MANAGER. SO BUYER BEWARE !!!Desired Settlement: owner of store do right thing by honor me a replacement $15 dollar subway gift card that will be activated and good use

On June 3rd 2013, Payless Supermarket, Appalachia recorded no sales of Subway gift cards. On June 2nd 2013 Payless did record the sale of 2 Subway gift cards. In our records and those of Blackhawk, the supplier of the gift cards, both cards were activated properly. The receipt that was brought to Payless does not match the card that was brought to Payless. The card that was brought to Payless has never been activated per our supplier, Blackhawk. I have attached copies of the purchases of Subway gift cards of June 2nd. I have also attached copies of the activations. Our investigation shows that everything was done properly. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.so I am writing to you I reject their perposal. also forgot mention they did not have video camera I found that out june 2nd when I give them receipt and subway cARD TO LOOK INTO IT. SO THIS BACK FIRING me now. STORE IS TRYING MAKE ME LOOK LIKE BAD GUY. WHEN STORE WHO IS BAD GUY. I BELEIVE STORE TRYTING COVER BOBO- "MISTAKE STORE MADE DUE TO EMPLOYEE MISTAKE MADE ON GIFTCARD". THE STORE OWNER DOES WANT OWE UP TO THEIR MISTAKE. IF VIDEO CAMERA WAS INSTALLED I COULD HAVE PROOF WHAT HAPPEN. BUT STORE TOLD ME AT TIME I PURCHASE THE GIFT CARDS THEY HAD NO VIDEO SURVANILLCE CAMERA INSTALLED.
