I purchased 5 lawn tickets to FGL concert for July, 11, 2019 for $469. The forecast called for severe weather. I called the venue prior to the show to see if the show was postponed. They announced rain or shine except for severe thunderstorms the show was on. So in order not to lose our money we decided to go praying the storm would hold off. One hour into the concert the heavens opened up and thunder and lightning was so bad the show was stopped. All patrons in the lawn area were told to leave and go to their car for further updates. Since 3 of us aren’t teenagers (on our mother/son dates) we decided to go to customer service desk to inquire about cancellation. Many people at the desk were told it was definitely canceled so we walked back to the car in severe thunderstorms, soaked to the bone and proceeded to begin our 1 1/2 drive home in this severe storm dripping wet with the understanding that the show will be rescheduled or money refunded because the noise ordinance in place prevented the concert from continuing after 11 pm. At 10 PM we get a notification that the show will resume. Not cool! I will never go to this venue again. They put thousands of people in harms way so they didn’t have to refund or reschedule. PNC Bank Arts Center is a disgrace!
Review: I am a 47 year old, professional and mother of two children and I am horrified at what occurred at the PNC Bank Arts Center on the evening of 7 September 2013. I don't know where to write nor to whom I can complain to as there doesn't seem to be information available anywhere on how to file a customer complaint directly with PNC Bank Arts Center. I hope you can give me some guidance.
I purchased two (2) tickets for a show which cost a total of $224.50. I arrived late to my seat so the arena was dark. I sat and was excited to see one of my favorite comic duos perform live so I took a picture with my cell phone. A security guard came over and said something to me but I couldn't hear what he said because it was loud and I was distracted by the show. About 10 minutes later I took another picture and security came over and said you're out! I was confused as I was not sure what had just transpired. I asked why and I apologized to the security (who were extremely rude I might add) and said I would not take any pictures. Again, I apologized and assured him that I would not take any other pictures. He got in my face and said leave NOW! I said I paid $225 for the tickets, please do not make me leave. A small commotion ensued with 5 other security members acting as if I was a thug and criminal! It was one of the most humiliating things to ever happen to me as people around me were staring and of course, annoyed by the disturbance (all being caused by the rude, unqualified, strong-armed security).Desired Settlement: I seek a refund of $225 from the PNC Bank Arts Center for being humiliated and wrongfully expelled from the venue. I did not see more than 15 minutes of the show. All of this was caused by the inadequate and poorly trained Security at the PNC Bank Arts Center. There was no need for them to treat me as they did and to expel me. I hope you can provide some help!
Many thanks for your time and assistance.
Review: My twin daughters age 16 attended 5 Seconds of Summer Concert on Sunday, August 30th. After waiting in line for 30 minutes in the 92 degree heat, they were let in to venue. They had to then wait on another line to get in to sound check. One of my daughters told her sister she was going to faint and to get her water. Her sister then went to concession stand who told her they were not open and could not give her water. She then flagged down a security staff and told him her sister was on a bench and was passing out. He said he couldn't help her that concessions were not open and he could only give her a hand if she put her sister on her shoulders. My daughters are 90lbs. each. She then asked where medical office is located and he merely pointed in direction. By now my daughter was passed out on bench. Her sister finally found medical office who then proceed to ask my fainted daughter if she could walk to medical station. She tried and was falling, dropped bag and everything fell out and they kept walking ahead. My daughter tried contacting me but couldn't get call to go through. This is a disgrace how these people didn't even care that a young girl was dehydrated and needed help or just a drink of water. I want this matter addressed by this venue. I have tried to leave a message, but all they have is a recorded message that says to leave a message. I have tried for three days to contact venue and have not been able to get anyone to call me back.Desired Settlement: I would like the money I paid for tickets to this event refunded. I paid a lot of money for VIP tickets so they would enjoy the concert. The way this situation was handled I will definitely not trust sending my daughters to any event at this venue again. Also I had to take my daughter to doctor the next day to have her evaluated for heat stroke which she definitely had.
