Thank you for notifying us about this patient’s complaint. On January 31st, we reviewed the account and calculated a refund of $892.54. We contacted the patient’s father and arranged to mail the refund check immediately. Upon internal review of our handling of this situation, we understand... completely why the patient and his family were upset. We extend our sincere apologies and will work to make appropriate changes in our procedures moving forward.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have asked for a detailed statement to be mailed to me for I can take care of this myselfMy surgery was on 12/23/I took that in to consideration before I even tried to contact them As soon as I did try to contact them, I got nothing but a run-around Give different people & nubmers every time I called to talk to & that got me no where They didnt even really try to talk to me until I filed this complaintThere would be no issue if the would have listened to me about my secondary insurance, they kept ignoring it I should have never paid a dime for my surgery until both insurance's were billed & anything remained & that was told also but still they would not accept my secondary at that time My insurance company even called them & talked to them about it I know how this works, I work in the medical field & I do insurance all day long And the cashier's check I received was for only $I paid them $ Sincerely,

Thank you for contacting our office. Our billing supervisor has been working to resolve this issue and today we were able to deliver a cashier’s check to our patient. We are still waiting on the final payment information from the secondary insurance. If the secondary insurance reimburses a greater amount than expected, we will issue another refund check as soon as possible. We apologize for the way this matter was handled by our office staff.

I am rejecting this response because:I have previously contacted you about this problem. There is still nothing solved about my situation. They did try & rebill to my insurance stating that they saw it was billed wrong. Of course my insurance denied for duplicate billing. I have since contacted them & told them that I still have my indemnity plan also for them to file on & that still has not been done. I know that they are going to owe my money back from surgery that was not performed plus maybe more. It is just getting aggravating that they are dragging their feet, it is not my fault that their office messed up. They expected their money upfront which I paid now I expect my money back that is due.I just would like my money that is owed to me & be done with this facility.
