Princeton Management Reviews (%countItem)

Very unprofessional company to do business with. I did cleaning services for a property they manage in Wayne MI, for 2 years before Princeton took over, I worked under them for a year. My first couple payments under them were late by at least a month! I then had to start an inconvenience to myself by calling and picking up my checks. Then abruptly my services ended with no notification, I had to call management to find out what was going on, just to be told they were utilizing "in house" cleaning. Very unprofessional, I was still doing them a service of scheduling other clients around them, even though they hadn't notified me that my company was no longer employed by Princeton.

Princeton prides itself in its relationships with its many vendors throughout the country. As a business owner, we often have to assess the value of vendors and whether the property would better benefit with the services of a vendor or performing those same services in house. Our actions were not unprofessional, it was simply a business decision that we felt benefited the property by bringing cleaning services in house.

Princeton adamantly denies the complainant’s allegations as they are false and unfounded. The complainant, Tom Nelson, is a former employee who was terminated by Princeton after working less than three weeks at two of its properties, Strata Estates-Williston and Washington Valley Apartments (Williston). These properties are located in North Dakota. Mr. Nelson also lived at Washington Valley from October 26, 2018 to November 30, 2018.The allegations in Mr. Nelson’s complaint are completely false.
Mr. Nelson refers to three Princeton properties in his complaint. The first property, Strata Estates-Watford, was 45 minutes away from the Mr. Nelson’s residence and place of employment. During his employment at Princeton’s properties in Williston, Mr. Nelson was never assigned to do any work at Strata Estates-Watford. Furthermore, there have never been any complaints regarding mold at Strata Estates-Watford and Mr. Nelson has no basis to make these claims set forth his complaint.
Mr. Wilson’s claims regarding Princeton’s properties in Williston are completely untrue. Princeton took over the management of Strata-Estates Williston in October 2018. At the time Princeton took over, a mold issue existed in a vacant unit at Strata Estates-Williston and Princeton timely addressed the issue by hiring a mold remediation company that expeditiously addressed all mold issues. There have never been any issues regarding mold at Washington Valley Apartments.
Clearly Mr. Nelson has no basis to make the accusations set forth in his complaint. Princeton handles all maintenance issues in a professional and timely manner. Princeton is a professional organization this has concern for all of its residents and employees. Princeton requests that you remove this complaint which is based on erroneous claims.

New resident at Wickshire Apartments ***, Fl 32210. Roof damage affecting first floor apartment of a two floor apartment building. Every other day of Rain, first floor ceiling is leaking badly. Informed leasing agent of issue two weeks ago. Phone calls have been ignored. No notice of whether it will be fixed or not. Had to throw everything away due to water damage. Walls are still wet. Disgusting odor coming from walls.

This company is one to the worst apartment management groups in Jacksonville, Florida. They do not maintain their properties, monitor the criminal behavior nor care about the conditions of the apartments unless they are to be inspected by the Federal Housing Department. The rent is increased based on actions that should have been taken 10 years ago, such as, new cabinets, new doors, clean floors, new tile and fixtures. There is mildew in apartments that are close to the water. To treat the mildew they paint or spray paint over it. Disturbances are rarely addressed so you may have neighbors that fight on a regular basis at all times during the night. Their practices are deplorable and our government should not be contracting with them until their practices change. And they regularly wrongfully evict with no repercussions for their actions.

We sincerely apologize if you did not enjoy your Preserve apartment experience. However, your eviction for failure to timely pay your rent was legally done pursuant to court order, as is every eviction that Preserve files regarding a non-paying tenant. Additionally, Duval County offers residents multiple opportunities to fight an eviction while it is in process, which you chose not to do. In response to your other review comments:

1) Had you submitted any complaint while you were a resident at Preserve, Preserve staff would have had the opportunity to address any conditions that you felt were not acceptable. However, you did not do that. Preserve prides itself on addressing work orders thoroughly and promptly in an effort to provide excellent customer service to valued residents;

2) All applicants at Preserve pass a stringent criminal background check. While crime can occur anywhere, as a deterrent, Preserve employs a roving security company, an officer resides on property, and the community works closely with Jacksonville Police (JSO) to remove any resident/guest who violates Preserve’s crime–free policy; and

3) Preserve strictly follows a national mold protocol program.
