Review: We contracted with [redacted] Washington of PW Washington & Company, LLC on 6/1/2015 to complete a flooring job at our home. Materials needed to be special ordered, and [redacted] agreed to come back to finish the job once materials were procured. He verbally informed us he need only 48 hours notice to finish the job once materials arrived. He requested that we pay in full, even though the job was not complete, with his assurance that he would be returning to finish. We had exchanged several emails and phone calls regarding questions I had about materials. Upon obtaining our final materials, we scheduled the completion of our project to occur on 7/21/15. On that date, [redacted] did not show up, nor did anyone from his company. We tried calling, emailing, and texting both his cell number and the business number and have continued to do so since. He was unreachable. On 7/23/15 he returned a text message, claiming to have been in the hospital and said that he would call us the next day to schedule. He has yet to return our numerous attempts to contact him. We have called him every day and emailed him numerous times since, and he refuses to return our calls or emails.Desired Settlement: PW Washington has the responsibility to finish the job immediately. If he is unable to do so, we request that a refund be provided so we may hire a professional to finish the job.
