Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/10/26) */ The customer complained, we offer to fix it, but then the scratches were on the glass and not on the film, therefore we called and explained there would be a fee to the tinting job The customer chose to leave the window without tint and left the shop Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 8, 2016/10/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Yes according to them the scrathes are on the window but isint it they should notify the customer first if there is a scrathes on the window before they tint it? Thats what they did on the passenger side before they tint it how come they didnt notify us about the drivers side? We were trying to negotiate with the owner but he start getting upset when I ask him if is it possible that the scratches happen while they are tinting it? He start saying " I am losing my bearing right now, indont want to repeat my self I will let you talk to somebody else now" What kind of owner is thatWe are a paying customer he should at least try to work it out with us THE REASON WHY WE PICK UP THE CAR BECAUSE HE WAS SO RUDE ON THE PHONE SO WE TOLD HIM WE WILL JUST PICK UP OUR CAR MY POINT HERE IS MACS TINTING SHOULD NOTIFY US THAT THERE IS A SCRATCH ON THE DRIVERS SIDE BEFORE THEY TINT, ( THEY NOTIFY US THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS A SCRATCH BUT NOT THE DRIVERS SIDE) SO WHY DO WE NEED TO PAY AGAIN IF THEY DIDNT NOTIFY US THE PROBLEM BEFORE THEY TINT IT? Hope you can be fair and help us with this complaint Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 12, 2016/11/16) */ First the customer complained about scratches and then later they also wanted to go darker on the film previously chosenHe anted re-done and darker at no cost In summary, the customer was complaining that they found scratches on the glass we checked and removed film and then we notified the customer that the scratches were on the glass and not the film, meaning it was not our fault, therefore there was going to be a charge for us to re-tint given the material and labor involved in this processNot to mention that it was at a discounted rate It wasn't all our fault, we wont do it for free neither apologize nor discuss it any more He stated that he is meticulous, he inspected the vehicle, he paid, so we are done Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (4200, 14, 2016/11/17) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) We were not notified that there is a scrathes on the drivers side window BEFORE they tint it Of course we have to complain about the scrath because we were not notified about it prior to the job order mentioned on our complain Secondly, the darkening of the tint is only secondaryThe main reason why we wanted the tint to be redone because we are not satisfied of the job they did which we already paid for it The main issue here and WE STRONGLY WANTED THEM TO ANSWER IT, is " How come Mac's Tinting did not notify us, before proceeding to the work order if they already notice the scrathes on our car (drivers side)? Isn't it, its there responsibility to notify the customer that there is a scratch on the window before tinting it, to prevent complain like this?
