My dog received emergency surgery at Quakertown Vet ClinicWhile he was provided with quality care however I would not bring him back here ever againEvery time I called I was given different answers as to what I was being charged and how much I had to pay before they treated my dogThe night before I called and scheduled his emergency surgery (only because his regular vet could not see him) I asked if any money needed to be put down upfront before his surgery was doneThe woman at the desk flat out told me NO and that when I picked him up I could just set up a payment planThe next morning, he was dropped off by my sister, sedated, had his bladder emptied all before they called me to tell me I needed to pay them 50% of the lowest estimated cost before they would START his procedureI had to scramble to come up with money for them even though he was already sedatedThey called me every day he was in and demanded I pay more money every dayWhen I was given updates for his "necessary" continued stay, I was told a different dollar amount/day that it would cost to keep him thereWhen I picked him up I informed them of this issue they said they didn't know why I was told thisI signed a paper saying how much I'd pay them per month on my bill and was told that if I didn't pay it off in months I would then be charged an interest feeWhen I went to pay my first bill that I received in the mail I noticed that there was an extra fee on thereI called and asked them why I was being charged this and they said it's their 'penalty' feeI stated to the rep that I was not told about this and with an attitude she said I was misinformed and that I had to pay it or pay $2,upfront to avoid itThis amount was supposed to be $20/monthEach bill I have received has had a different 'penalty' fee amountEvery time I ask about this they use the same excuse saying I was misinformedThey are rude and don't careAll they want is your moneyI am thankful that they provided such good care to my dog, but I would not recommend them for their business ethicsOn top of this, it took them over a month to tell me the results of why my dog had developed bladder stones out of the blueTurns out he had a bladder infectionwhich they didn't tell me when I picked him up nor was it on the paperworkI was told I had to feed him a special prescription diet for the rest of his lifeI waited an entire week to try and get the 'prescription' from the vet and THEY NEVER WROTE ONE! When they finally did call me they wanted me to bring him back to have his urine tested to make sure the infection was goneI told them I was not going to bring him back there ever again and if he needed additional care he was going to his regular vetI also told them I was furious that I was never informed of his infectionSTAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Their older facility is MUCH better and they are all ethical!

My dog received emergency surgery at Quakertown Vet Clinic. While he was provided with quality care however I would not bring him back here ever again. Every time I called I was given different answers as to what I was being charged and how much I had to pay before they treated my dog. The night before I called and scheduled his emergency surgery (only because his regular vet could not see him) I asked if any money needed to be put down upfront before his surgery was done. The woman at the desk flat out told me NO and that when I picked him up I could just set up a payment plan. The next morning, he was dropped off by my sister, sedated, had his bladder emptied all before they called me to tell me I needed to pay them 50% of the lowest estimated cost before they would START his procedure. I had to scramble to come up with money for them even though he was already sedated. They called me every day he was in and demanded I pay more money every day. When I was given updates for his "necessary" continued stay, I was told a different dollar amount/day that it would cost to keep him there. When I picked him up I informed them of this issue they said they didn't know why I was told this. I signed a paper saying how much I'd pay them per month on my bill and was told that if I didn't pay it off in 6 months I would then be charged an interest fee. When I went to pay my first bill that I received in the mail I noticed that there was an extra fee on there. I called and asked them why I was being charged this and they said it's their 'penalty' fee. I stated to the rep that I was not told about this and with an attitude she said I was misinformed and that I had to pay it or pay $2,000 upfront to avoid it. This amount was supposed to be $20/month. Each bill I have received has had a different 'penalty' fee amount. Every time I ask about this they use the same excuse saying I was misinformed. They are rude and don't care. All they want is your money. I am thankful that they provided such good care to my dog, but I would not recommend them for their business ethics. On top of this, it took them over a month to tell me the results of why my dog had developed bladder stones out of the blue. Turns out he had a bladder infection.... which they didn't tell me when I picked him up nor was it on the paperwork. I was told I had to feed him a special prescription diet for the rest of his life. I waited an entire week to try and get the 'prescription' from the vet and THEY NEVER WROTE ONE! When they finally did call me they wanted me to bring him back to have his urine tested to make sure the infection was gone. I told them I was not going to bring him back there ever again and if he needed additional care he was going to his regular vet. I also told them I was furious that I was never informed of his infection.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Their older facility is MUCH better and they are all ethical!
