Continuing to be billed after return of equipment I received a cancellation of service on DecemberI called Cox and was informed that the account was past due so I asked if I turned in equipment could I stop charges and set up a payment planThe agent said yes so I returned equipment on December to the store and explained I no longer wanted to keep any services at the homeI paid $on my $bill at that timeThen on December I received an email bill from Cox of $so on December I called Cox and they told me that my services were never disconnectedI explained the whole story in detail and she promised me that she would ensure the services were stopped and back dated to the 12thThen about weeks later I still had not received a final bill so I called againThe agent said I then owed even more money so I had to explain the whole story againShe then again promised me that she would submit all paperwork needed for this to be corrected and I would get a final

I would give them zero stars if possible! I've never had a company so out for profit that they don't care about the customer It wasn't that way in when I started with them They make changes to their system that eliminate capably from the customer and monopolize the market by only letting their equipment be used to convert signal!

I started service with fox in February when I got the service it was no cancellation fee my name was forgery on a contract I did not sign I got a sales call in February for a promotion for tv,internet, and home life for $ free installation with no contract the only thing I was told I was signing was permission for the installation and can cancel anytime When I got my first bill it was higher than what I was promised I called them to discuss the fees weeks after starting service that wher due immediately they said it was installation and a onetime setup fee I was not told on the next bill was I they called about this outstanding bill they told me again it was installation fee which should have been free I felt like this is a scam so I paid the bill and discontinued all service on 04/29/they would not disconnect the service every time I called they would place me on hold for over a hour even asking for a manager I couldn't get one finally after a month I speak to so

Cox cut my internet cable They replaced it but they haven't buried the new cable It had been over a month Sometime before June 27th, Cox cut my internet cable I called them and informed them of the situation They sent a tech to replace the cable but not someone to bury the cable I have been waiting for over a month This issue has happened before This is my second time making a complaint to Cox for burial of the internet cable

I am having reception problems and it has been an ongoing issue for awhile,such as pixeling, picture freeze and tv eventually going off the air I have been having issues with cable reception for awhile, and this has been reported to cox communications, technicians have been here and it seems I get temporary fixes but problem eventually returns(my neighbors also have the same problem but have given up on contacting Cox because it doesn't get fixed)my last contact was made online on Sept.6,2017, work no.XXXXXXX,with a Cox technician to come out to my house on Sept7,This is weeks later and still no contact from Cox Communications, the storm was after the contact dateI decided to wait to see if I would hear something but it has become apparent that its not happening.I am still have this problem as well as my neighbors,because when my tv starts messing I check with them also and they are having the same thing, so its just not my problem, if my bill wasn't paid I'm sure it would

Will not repair or test their damaged lines

The combination of horrible customer treatment and multiple instances of loosing internet service over the past year encouraged me to write this I have had Cox for over a year and my service has gone out multiple times Each time it would go out a tech would come and patch the problem temporarily but it inevitably would go out againThis has happened about four to five times in the last year with the most recent one being about two weeks agoI currently still do not have internet This is how the last two weeks have played outI called Cox the day after the internet went out and they scheduled an appointment for 5-PM and no one showed up I received a call from a tech at 9:30PM telling me someone had dropped the ball but he did not know who He rescheduled me for another appointment a few days later and said he would make a note to credit my account for the missed appointmentOn the day of the appointment, no one showed up for the second time Obviously this was frustratin

This company cut my internet even though I was not subscribed to them They were burying a cable for my next door neighbor, and cut my internet cable I am currently subscribed to [redacted] Internet

Accidental over charge Cox reversed the charge, but due to banking, the hold is still on my account Can't get a hold release letter Over charge of $was made While Cox cancelled this in their system, it still shows in the bank and has now caused $in overdraft fees Have tried for two days to get a hold release written by Cox, which would allow the bank to release these charges immediately Without this money released, I cannot buy life saving medicine or pay rent
