Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I read the message you sent me with the response from Quality Auto Finder and have some issues and points I must express as well.
The second key that Quality Auto Finder is making reference to is true. I was only provided one key when I purchased the vehicle, so I took it upon myself to go to a Lexus dealership to order a second key on 4/7/16. While I was there I was told by the service department that it was not possible to program a new Remote Key FOB because the tech found no communication to the OBD port. Once further inspected they also found the aftermarket wiring, taps and multiple missing fuses. Also, some exposed wiring coming off of the OBD Harness. They recommended additional diagnostic time.  They noted on the paperwork that with nocommunication to the OBD this car will not pass smog. I declined at the time because I spoke

to the owner at Quality Auto finder in person and

he suggested for me to NOT to leave it at Lexus and to bring him the vehicle that he would fix it. I am going to attach the customer copy receipt that Lexus gave to me where you can see the mechanics/tech explanation.  With that being said I can not help but wonder how the owner/QAF got this vehicle smogged. It took Quality Auto Finder approximately 3 months to provide me the license plates to the vehicle.
I have to state that I never told or took the Lexus to a mechanic. First reason being that the point of sale time was between 10 and 11 p.m. so that statement is untrue.
I am also providing a list of all the issues with the Lexus.
1- Problems with the sun-roof2- The radio does not keep the programmed station I save.3- The wipers are not working4- The airbag light is on

The car was Sold AS-IS at the time of purchase. As for the key, At the time of purchase we only had one key so we sold him the vehicle with one key. When we sold the vehicle the car had no problems at all and passed smog. There were no check engine lights or any lights when the vehicle was...

sold. The original price was $17,999+tax and fees and after he wanted a discount we sold him the vehicle at $15,800 including tax, license and registration Out the Door. The customer test drove the vehicle and took it to his mechanic prior to purchase. At the time of purchase we thee dealership offered him a extended warranty from a third party and at the time he declined the warranty, so the vehicle was sold AS-IS. He also signed the Buyers Guide were he knew the vehicle was sold AS-IS. We never promised any additional keys or any other extras.

Review: I purchased a van from this dealership, 3 days in my possession, the van overheated. The heads needed to be rebuilt, they offered to pay for the repairs. The mechanic said I was getting a 1 year warranty, the dealership nor the mechanic has produced a copy of it. The Mechanic cannot figure out the leaking issues. I have also recently had to replace the transmission, which was 1600.00. I have already paid 600 dollars. I still have some transmission issues, with the changing of gears. The van slams into second and when it is downshifting it slams into first gear. I want the dealership to pay the balance owed for the transmission replacement, and the mechanic has had the van for a total of 20 days, in which at times I have had to rent a car to get to work for two of the times the van was in the mechanic's shop. I have tried to call the dealership 9 times since April-9-2015. I still have not received a call back.,Desired Settlement: I wan the van's leaking and transmission issues. I wan the dealership to pay the balance owed for the transmission 900.00

Review: Quality Auto Finder had financed a 2005 Kia Amanti. The dealer informed us that the vehicle had only one owner, no accidents, clear title etc... On November 24th my wife and I went to CarMax to get our vehicle appraised to possibly trade it in. when the process was concluded their vehicle history revealed the the vehicle has had 5 previous owners and was involved in 3 accident which resulted to structural damage and repair. We were not told this information by the dealer at all. We feel lied to and unsafe in this vehicle.Desired Settlement: We desire and replacement vehicle, that we can verify through CarMax, that it is a safe vehicle and has 0 or 1 previous owner.

Or a cancellation of the vehicle contract and a refund of the amount we have spent on the vehicle.

Review: I bought the car in February and I called and asked them when my plates were coming in and they didn't get me my plates with registration until after 7 months. They never once contacted me and told me my plates were ready and not they refuse to pay for renewal claiming they contacted me and they just conduct shady business. They also were supposed to put new tires but have not. The tires I have are needing replacement and it was just a hazard as they could've popped while on the road due to being bad tires.Desired Settlement: Just be an honorable business if you want people to recommend you.

Review: On February 26 of 2014 I sold my 2000 Chevy Malibu, a few hours later my fiancé, [redacted], and I went to Quality Auto Finder in Imperial Beach, CA hoping to come out with a better car. We got approved for a 2001 Mercedes Benz c320. It was our first time buying together and we were so happy that they took advantage of our situation, over all the excitement they had us signing right away a bunch of paperwork not explaining thoroughly each document which I've now learned to never sign anything without reading. Even though they let us know it was the same thing over and over only explaining simple facts. I mainly focused on the print outs on the history of the car and everything seemed fine, no problems found. They offered a 2 year warranty for the car for $2,500, we didn't accept it because the amount we had planned to put down was $2,000 and ended up agreeing to pay the rest of the $1,300 within two weeks the total down payment was $3,300, so there was no way we could also come up with $2,500 for the warranty. We happily drove out of the lot late this night thinking we had a big upgrade in our car and excited to build mine and [redacted]'s credit, our next goal was to get our own apartment for us and our daughter. The car drove perfect for a week, a little over a week after buying it as I was driving my daughter to a doctor appointment the car started driving really weird, it wouldn't change gears, I got scared pulled over and had [redacted] on the phone to see if we can figure out the problem, he said the car went on emergency life saving mode due to the battery's low voltage, I went in to Auto Zone to test the battery, they told me it had no life. I called in the dealership and let them know, they told me not to worry and to take the car in, missing my daughters appointment I drove to Imperial Beach right away. I waited a couple hours until they finally told me to go to Frank's Batteries on Main Street not too far from there. They greeted me and right away changed the cars' original Mercedes Benz battery for a brand new battery, not Mercedes Benz. It cost me nothing because the dealership was going to pay for it. The next day the sound in my car went out. It suddenly didn't play music or my navigation. I, again, called the dealership to report that problem, they told me to come in. I went to the dealership and waited a couple hours to speak with someone. As I was waiting a man approached me, rudely he asked "what are you waiting for, what is your problem now, didn't we already replace your battery?" I said yes sir and I thank you for that but now the sound seems to be out, there's no sound in my car, he responded laughing at me, "sound? that's not my problem, you go and fix that on your own" I said why sir we just bought this car not even two weeks ago and this is the second problem, another employee pulled me away and told me that he was the owner, and he was rude at times. I said I politely came to see what the problem was now, maybe the battery being changed out caused a fuse to go out, they told me to take my car to UNO's sounds and systems in Chula Vista and they will diagnose the problem. So right away I did. They didn't have time to check it that day and told me to come back next week. I went back, they checked my car and saw the amplifier "burned out" I wasn't sure what they meant but told me it probably was caused by the battery's low voltage. They checked for fuses and other probable causes but everything seemed fine. It was the battery's low voltage that caused the amplifier to go out. They then checked to see if they can replace the amplifier with a non original part so it wouldn't be so costly, but couldn't. Only the original piece would work so meanwhile I waited they were on the phone with the dealership to see what they were going to do or how they were going to resolve this small problem. Quality Auto Finder let them know that they will order the original Mercedes part and let them know when it arrived so I can then take my car again to get fixed. A week later I called and spoke with [redacted] from Quality Auto Finder, she told me nobody ordered the part yet and to wait another week. I waited a week before calling again and [redacted] again let me know that they forgot to order the part, I said that's fine, give me a call once its arrived. I waited a little over a week and after no returned call I called Quality Auto Finder again and spoke with [redacted] , after being on hold for several minutes she let me know that the part for my car had not yet been ordered and that they will take care of it that day, they never fixed this to this day. A week before this, a couple weeks after getting the new battery installed my car started dying, meaning it wouldn't turn back on, I didn't worry much I figured maybe I left a light on. I'm insured with Geico and have Road Side Assitance at no extra charge so it wasn't much of a hassle to wait for them to come and jump start me, I figured I've bugged the dealership enough already to report another problem. It happened again and again for a few days in a row, I noticed that since that was happening I'd make sure to switch off everything. This happened about 4 times, twice in one day before I called the dealership to let them know what has been going on. They told me that they will "check my car out" as soon as they have a chance, and to wait for a phone call so I can bring my car in to their mechanic. My car didn't turn on five mornings in a row, I'd wake up to call Geico before going anywhere because I knew this car we just purchased was not going to turn on, sadly. The thought of being young and capable of being taken advantage of in many situations always crossed my mind but I never thought we would actually end up getting treated very poorly and unfair. This was very unfair to me as my first car payment in my life was coming close and I was very excited to send out that first payment, I cried, I felt confused and frustrated because what was supposed to be an upgrade from an old car this became a nightmare. Missing a couple interviews for myself, not being able to get in contact with [redacted] from Quality Auto Finder who promised a solution to this problem and having to chase him around because he stopped answering my phone calls, having to personally drive to Imperial Beach and nicely get an answer as to why this car was faulty since the first week and why the problems keep arising. I called Gold Acceptance, the bank that financed the money for the sale, I let them know what was going on but they told me it wasn't their problem. [redacted] finally answered my call after a few days and told me that they were going to pick up my car so the mechanic can see it, he told me to pick it up the next day. I went to get my car the next day and they told me they didn't have it checked out yet, and if they can keep the car more days, I had one of the employees drop me off in Chula Vista at a friends house meanwhile he was supposed to take my car to an Electrician. A few hours later the same employee picked me up in my car and said that they didn't find any problem. I took him back to the dealership and drove home frustrated and felt helpless, why is this car not working correctly? My 2000 Chevy Malibu had no problems, ever. The next morning again, my car doesn't turn on, and the following morning and the following morning. I called Quality Auto Finder and told them theres still a problem with my car, it has not turned on every morning unless I jump start it. They told me to take the car in and give them a few days so they can take it to a Specialist. I said can you come get the car because it doesn't turn on, they told me to have my insurance tow it to them. I agreed since it didn't cost me any extra. I called Geico to request a jump start or towing services when I found out I'm no longer covered for that due to the many jump starts so many days in a row, I was only allowed a certain amount every month. I then let the dealership know so they sent someone to jump start and take my car in to the dealership. They let me keep that car they drove to my house in, I thanked them because I thought I would be carless for a couple days. The next morning having many errands to take care of the loan car didn't start. The owner along with an employee personally came to pick up their loan car, the owner, who never introduced himself and I still don't know his name to this day, apologized and let me know that he is taking this personally and it will be in his hands to take care of all my cars' issues, he assured me that my car will be working just fine in no time, he assured me that he will pay the high price and take my car directly to Mercedes Benz dealership, never mentioned I will have to pay. But with that I will have to leave my car with him for a few days so they can fix the problem, I said thats fine I can be carless for a few days as long as my car turns on the next morning I get it back. I called a couple days later because I needed my car, I said I don't mind using a loan car for the mean time, and they told me they will loan me one I just have to go pick it up. I couldn't go get it but an employee brought it to me. I called in every morning to get an update on my car an they gave me no answer. This started feeling awkward to me, I called and asked where my car was taken and what they're doing to it, they told me they couldn't tell me where my car was. [redacted] told me she will find out for me and return my call. My call wasn't returned so I called the next morning and asked again where my car was and again they told me they couldn't tell me and the reason was because "the company doesn't deal with costumers, only dealerships". I asked when my car will be fixed and asked [redacted] for a print out of everything that was done to my car and the Diagnosis. He said he would be more than happy to provide that to me. I felt at ease finally. Six days went by and I had not yet heard anything about my car, no answer, no call bak, no voicemails. [redacted] finally answered and shouting out loud told me to go get my car and leave them alone, he told me to stop bugging them and take my car back, he cursed and yelled very loud over the phone before he hung up. I literally broke down in tears, Im crying as I write this because to this day my life and plans have went downhill. My fiancé got out of work early to come and take the loan car back and get ours. The owner had me go in his office and in front of a few employees told me, " Irit, your car is fixed, I'm glad this is done because we are all tired of you, we don't want to hear from you again, your car had a short circuit under the drivers seat and it was very pricey to buy the part and fix the problem" I responded shyly and apologized for being so annoying I guess you can say, I have never been the type of person to complain about anything, I simply accommodate. But I felt like I had to stand up for myself this time. The owner then gave me my car keys and said you are good to go after you sign this paper saying you will pay me back for the part, I was shocked. I didn't know after not having my car for almost a week and all the hassles and troubles I went through I still had to pay. I told him I wasn't expecting to pay so am not ready to pay him. He asked when I can give him money, a part of what he spent and I told him I didn't know, I told him to give me a couple weeks. He said ok, looked at the calendar and said bring me back $225 by this date, I asked him why $225 and he simply told me that it was nothing compared to what he payed, clearly stating that he payed the mechanic $90/hr for his work for three hours. I asked where my car had been the rest of the time since he kept it for a week and they fixed it in 3 hours. He said "that doesn't matter, what matters is you wanted your car fixed well there you go its outside fixed, now you have to pay me". A lady overheard in her office, Ive never met her either, and rudely came out yelling at an employee to take my keys and not let me take my car unless I signed the paper stating that I will pay the owner back $225 within two weeks. I signed adding on that I will pay him back that money after he shows me proof and receipts of what was spent. He agreed so I signed. As I'm loading my car with my daughters and my stuff from the loan car I try opening my car's trunk to put my daughters stroller in it. My trunk doesn't open. I laughed in disbelief. I tried a couple other ways to open it and it wouldn't open. The owner came back out and asked what was going on, I told him my trunk was fine before I gave you my car. He laughed at me and said don't worry about your trunk at least the car turns on now. My fiancé googled the problem as the owner himself tried to open it and it made a latching noise as if it were trying to open but couldn't pop open. All the reviews and answers to that same exact problem were that it only happens when you slam it too hard, a little plastic latch breaks, I figured he or an employee did it due to me bugging them over my cars' problems. I grabbed my keys and left, hoping that my car will turn on the next morning, not really focusing on my trunk not opening. The next morning my car turned on. I had breakfast and was driving to meet up with my older sister when my car stopped changing gears, the same problem I had a week after buying the car and this time I already knew it was the battery. My car turned off, I pulled over to the side of the rode with my hazard lights on and I waited for my sister to jump start me. I went to Auto Zone right away. They checked my battery, The Auto Zone employee told me that the battery had no life remaining, I told him they just put in the battery about a month ago, that couldn't be possible, its a brand new battery. He told me it was not, I looked over and clearly it was an old and rusty one, different from the one they had put in my car. It was not my new battery they had replaced for the original one, it was another one. My sister being aware of all the problems I've had with my car couldn't believe they actually took back the new one and put an old one with no life to replace it thinking I wasnt going to notice. We then drove in her car to Quality Auto Finder. I told [redacted] what just happened and he said well I don't know what to tell you, thats your problem, buy a new one. I asked him for the print out of the diagnosis on my car and what was done to it and he told me he wasn't going to give me anything. The owner approached us and said we bought the new battery so we can take it back now leave my lot. My sister then told him that we will have to go to a lawyer because this is too much, he said go "I don't care, bring a lawyer, do whatever you want, and get out of my lot before I call the police" calling us names in front of my daughter and in front of my sisters two kids we agreed to leave. Before we left my sister asked for his name so she can take it to a lawyer and he refused to give us his name. She then drove me to her husbands family's lawyer, [redacted], in National City. I payed him $500 to start an investigation. It has been 7 weeks we've spent $1,462, and nothing has been done, they don't answer or return phone calls. We have not yet moved out of our parents house to provide our daughter her own home due to all the attorney fees and unexpected expenses, my car still needs jump starts, my trunk is still broken, and still have a +$16,000 loan in our name, I don't know who can help me, I just want something fair to be done. And I pray on that every night.Desired Settlement: I ask for fairness to be delivered, we were treated very poorly, and have been thru a lot of frustrations and almost lost our relationship, we have further the date for my daughter to have a home, we have lost a lot of money, I would just want to trade this car back or get our money back and try this again elsewhere with professional people that went to school to carry on a business successfully.

Review: on 02/09/2014 I met with now fired employee of the company by the name [redacted].We came to an agreement of an cash down payment of $1700 and a car trade-in which the company valued at $300 with an promise of making an additional payment of $1000 within 30 days.On 4/23/2014 at 230 am my wife awakens me to tell me that the car is missing before panicking we called the police direct to find out if the car was repossessed. The police department did inform that it was repossessed. I call the company at exactly 10 am, their opening time I was rudely told by their secretary [redacted] that the GM Daniel would not be in till later in the day and would call me when he gets in. I called again an hour later which same woman [redacted] rudely says I said he will not be in till later and hangs up on. Allowing myself to cool off I call back and ask to speak with the owner. An lady by the name of [redacted] and she was even more rude then [redacted] saying that they repossessed the car because we fail to make the down payment AND we never made the first monthly payment of the car. I admitted that yes we failed to pay the remaining balance of the down payment but we did make the first monthly payment. which she replies to who I tell her the loan company Gold Acceptance which been calling us since we purchased the car. she rudely remarks know one told you to send the money to them. the payment was to be made to the dealership not the loan company. she smugly says on the contract you signed it states that we the dealership has always had the lien of the vehicle. I was baffled by this. Because I have the copy of the contract and no where does it states that the dealership holds the lien of the vehicle. So the 73 days we had the car the starter goes out we had to replace the brakes which was at %10 when we replaced had two oil changes because the oil pan has an major leak also the A/C makes an loud clicking noise after turning off the A/C for 5-10 minutes no hub cap nor the trunk floor mat and now they repossess the car because the owner of the dealership is saying we made no car payment or paid off the remaining balance. I go down to the dealership to speak with the owner an woman by the name of [redacted]. during our conversation she talks over me insults me and my wife. then she continues to baffle me by saying that she spoke with Golden Acceptance and they told her they never received an payment from me and that she was tired of my lies. Prior before entering the dealership I called Golden Acceptance and I was informed that they never received any paper work from the dealership so they denied our loan for the car on 4/22/2014. But [redacted] the owner kept yelling at me saying that the contract states they had loan of the car since we purchased and Gold Acceptance was never part of the deal. By this time I say to her ok [redacted] since you repossessed our vehicle I want my $1700 and my trade in back. she says this conversation is over. please leave before I call the police. So respecting her wishes I leave. My wife calls her and shes just as rude and disrespectful to her. When my wife mentions we will sue her she also tells her that this conversation is over and hangs up on her. I understand that dealership felt we were trying to slight them on $1000 but for them to ignore me when I made numerous complaints of the car IE starter going out bad breaks leaking oil pan clicking noise in the A/C unit, they ignored me. but it seems they made extra effort to damage my credit even more by repossession and treating me and my wife rudely and to be threatened by the owner of the company is uncalled.Desired Settlement: return of the $1700 down payment and return of an trade in for an 1995 Cadillac seville
