Quality Auto Services Reviews (6)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I received a email about my complaint on 1/24/and unintentionally sent it back blank without a response I was informed to send my response via this email The claims that Quality Auto Services is making are absolutely and also insulting It's true I came in seeking a tuon my car My car was experiencing minor problems but nothing of the magnitude this company is suggesting I find it humorous that they would say that I stated that I was pouring antifreeze in "gallons at a time" I may not be mechanically inclined but I know enough not to do such a asinine thing I filed a complaint against Quality Auto Services as well as Baul's Auto Center in the attempt to ferret out the guilty party By spinning such an exaggerated tale , Quality Auto Services has shown me not only who is to blame for my car problems, but also the caliber and character of the people who are employed at that establishment I would like my car repaired to the condition in which it "limped" in and to be reimbursed for the futile attempt of a tune-up I am not in the pursuit of name calling and finger pointing I just want my car fixed and the people responsible to own up to their misdoings

I wanted to say how very pleased I am with the services provided from Quality Auto Services As a single woman, it's often difficult to find "honest" auto individuals that I can completely trust I must say I completely trust the advice I have received about my car and am very grateful! Thanks so much!!!

We are writing to you in response to complaint [redacted] second letter. In this letter [redacted] states that the facts we stated in our first letter were absolutely false and insulting to him. We can't stress enough about the fact that [redacted] himself declined our complete diagnostic on the vehicle. When the vehicle inquestion came to our shop barely running, [redacted] strongly insisted on a tune-up which requires replacing the spark plugs. Upon removing the spark plugs we found antifreeze contamination on them. As we previously stated in our first reply to you, this contamination is a classic symptom of a blown head gasket. This contamination destroyed two of the six spark plugs needed to run the vehicle. The vehicle codes that we pulled from the vehicle as well as the contamination on the spark plugs were the final confirmation to us why the vehicle was running poorly. [redacted] was then informed of these facts by our shop manager and [redacted] stated to him that the vehicle had been running poorly and that he had been adding antifreeze to it from the time he purchased  the vehicle. [redacted] understandably was not pleased to be informed of this, and we could clearly see that this vehicle came to our shop with a pre..existing condition not caused by us replacing the spark plugs. Contrary to [redacted]s' statements we are not here to play games, but to simply inform our customers of

[redacted]
the facts about their vehicles and to repair them in a timely and safe manner.  We are not liable for the pre-existing condition of [redacted]s' vehicle, nor will we assume any financial re-imbursement for which he is seeking. [redacted] obviously does not know where to place the blame for his vehicle seeing that he has also drafted a letter to you regarding the business practices of Bauls Auto Center, where he originally purchased the vehicle. Whether or not he purchased
it with the existing condition or if it happened after his purchase one thing is for certain...the damage to the vehicle had already been done before we even began to work on it. As far as Quality Auto Services is concerned, this matter is closed.
Furthermore, [redacted] has since abandoned his vehicle here at our facility and is in jeopardy of getting it towed to a junkyard/impound,  being that it is in violation of our lease to not keep abandoned vehicles on the lot.

Review: On 1/3/14 I drove my car to Quality Auto Services and inquired about them tuning up my car. After a quick diagnostic, they told me I needed a tune-up like. I agreed to the tune-up and they began fixing my car. I was informed that I needed a few hoses repaired and a DPFE EGR sensor replaced which I agreed to. After several hours of waiting I was taken to the back and informed that my car would not start. They did not know why. They performed a compression and hydro-carbon test and determined that the car had a blown head gasket. They showed me fluid on a spark plug and implied that the dealer sold me a defective car. I then paid for the tune-up to my car, which was now not starting, and left. My car is sitting on the side of their shop and still will not start. My dilemma is that the dealer is stating that they did something wrong and trying to place the blame on Quality Auto Services. Quality Auto Services is stating that the dealer sold me a rigged up car and placing the blame on them. I don't know how I can drive my car there and then be told it is in worse condition after they perform the repairs to it.Desired Settlement: I want them to repair my car properly at their expense and refund me the amount I paid for the tune-up.
