AS PER THIS COMPLAINT, ID#[redacted], WE ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE DID RECEIVED THE CALL FROM [redacted] ON OCTOBER [redacted], 2015 @10:04PM WITH A 90 MINUTE...

ETA. DUE TO CERTAIN UNCONTROLABLE CIRCUMSTANCES WE WERE UNABLE TO MEET THE 90 MINUTE ETA AND WE TOOK THE PROPER PROCEDURES WITH ROADSIDE BY NOTIFYING THEM OR THE SITUATION AT HAND. ROADSIDE TOLD US NO PROBLEM, THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE CAR TO BE PICKED UP. WHEN THE MORNING SHIFT CAME IN AND REVIEWED THE HIGHT SHIFT CALLS TO MAKE SURE THE CARS WERE PICKED UP AND THE CUSTOMERS WERE TAKEN CARE OF, WE CAME ACROSS THIS CALL AND THE CUSTOMER STATED THAT HER CAR WAS PICKED UP, BUT SHE DIDN'T RECALL THE NAME OF THE COMPANY THAT TOWED THE CAR. APPARENTLY, ANOTHER TOW COMPANY PICKED UP HER CAR AND NEITHER SHE NOR THE ROADSIDE SERVICE NOTIFED US OF THIS SITUATION. WE RECEIVED A GOA FOR CALL BECAUSE THE MOTOR CLUB DID NOT CONTACT US TO CANCEL CALL. THEY DIPATCHED TWO DIFFERENT TOW COMPANIES TO SAME LOCATION!! WE DO UNDERSTAND THE CUSTOMER'S FRUSTRATION AND CONCERNS AND DO APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE WE CAUSED HER, BUT WE CANNOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE ROADSIDE COMPANY AND THE CUSTOMER.

They said they would give me a free quote for a diagnostic for my engine not starting. They claimed to spend hours on the car and when I didn't use them they charged me $150 diagnostic fee. That's bad business. I should have stuck to my gut and sent to the dealership.

Review: Quality Automotive was contracted by [redacted] as a Road Side Assistance provider on the evening of October [redacted] between 9-10PM to pick up two stranded individuals (self and fiance) who had been in a deer-car collision on the Palisade Parkway. We pulled into the Central Kitchen Englewood Cliffs parking lot shortly after 10PM that evening (nearest exit from the collision), after receiving a text message notifying us that Quality Automotive would arrive at 11.34PM (ETA) to pick us up and bring a new rental car.

No one from the Quality Automotive ever showed up. The company also misrepresented actual services rendered to both [redacted] and me when nothing was done. In fact, as of 2.40PM on October [redacted], the vehicle is still in the Central Kitchen parking lot, as both [redacted] and I have confirmed with the restaurant manager on separate calls. MOREOVER, Quality Automotive told [redacted] car rental Road Side Assist that 1) at circa 3.00AM on the morning of October [redacted] that the car has already been picked up from the parking lot and sent to the Newark service center; 2) contradictory to the first claim, at circa 10AM on October [redacted], that the car was gone from the parking lot and there is nothing to pick up, causing much confusion to both the customer and [redacted] as to the whereabouts of the vehicle itself. NOT ONLY DID QUALITY AUTOMOTIVE LEAVE TWO INDIVIDUALS STRANDED, THEY ALSO REPEATEDLY LIED ABOUT ACTUAL SERVICE RENDERED.

Importantly, I, [redacted], called Quality Automotive on October [redacted] at 11.43PM and at 12.48AM, and was told each time that help was about 30-45 minutes away. On the last call, the person said that there is only one guy serving 15 different requests and THREATENED to cancel the service in a passive aggressive manner when I asked for an update on ETA given the repeated delays. He asked me if the purpose of my call was to cancel the service. I told this person that it's not logical for anyone who is calling him for an update at 1AM to actually want to cancel road side assist after having patiently waiting for them for 3 hours. But the unprofessional conduct did not end there. The company proceeded to lie to [redacted] about the whereabouts of the car on two separate occasions as detailed above, causing more unnecessary confusion, frustration, and grief from fear of losing the car in an already exasperating situation.Desired Settlement: No desired contact from the company and this complaint is meant for public records and for the Revdex.com. The purpose is so that other stranded individuals do not have to be subject to the same kind of ordeal. It is my hope that [redacted] no longer uses this vendor for its Roadside Assist services.

Review: Quality automotive was sent by [redacted] roadside assistance to pick up my car and tow it to a nearby dealer. They were supposed to store it overnight because they arrived later and the Dealer had already closed. nearly two days later, the car is missing. Quality says it was delivered, however they have changed the story about when it was delivered (first saying it was delivered the next day, then saying they dropped it off as soon as they picked it up from me). They have not been about to tell me who signed for the car, or where it was dropped off. even though they claim it was delivered. I've had to consider it stolen and contact police, even they have not been able to get in touch with the manager (named [redacted]) and get answers.Desired Settlement: I would like to find out exactly what happened to my car and have this company and it's employees held accountable.
