Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I understand that we signed that and we asked them what legal rights they had to keep our other half of the money since we could not get approvedThe seller not the agent personally called my agent in regards to the money and stated to her that he didn't wanna give the money back and to top it off the one who contacted her was not any of the people on the title it was the husband /significant other of the daughter who was on the titleThey basically said if we didn't aign we would have to go thru legigation which would take up to 2years to get our money back and then thy would mean I would have to retain a lawyer that would come out of my pocketAll in all I was basically cornered in to signing the paper work and if I didn't sign the paperwork I wouldn't get nothing back and have to fight thru the legigation department because the seller stated he lawyers upI want you all to know how they handle and conduct business in this matter and situationWe told the the agent and the title company with enough time that we could not obtain an approval for the loan on the house and in our contract we signed it stated we had days to obtain approval and we notified them on the day we were no able to get approved Ask them to send you that paperwork as well if not I will be more that happy to email you the documents for your record Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI did receive my money finally but it was NOT due to them taking action, they got lucky and the seller released the money so he could sell the house I still feel this business is unethical, but I have my money and I consider this resolved but I will never do business with them again.

I am rejecting this response because: it was for only half the money we put down as earnest money.. It was not the whole amount that we put...

down there is still $900 that the seller keep because they didn't like the fact we couldn't get approved ..

I have looked in the file and see a check was cut to him on 8/8/17 ??? this should have been resolved yesterday. thank you

the closer received the release of Earnest money today and has left a message for the agent....they are in the process of releasing the money.thank you

I want you all to know how they handle and conduct business in this matter and situation.. We told the the agent and the title company with enough time that we could not obtain an approval for the loan on the house and in our contract we signed it stated we had 21 days to obtain approval and we notified them on the 15 day we were no able to get approved ..  Ask them to send you that paperwork as well if not I will be more that happy to email you the documents for your record ..
