Review: On 7/*/14 a severe lightening storm occurred resulting in a large tree being struck and falling on my roof. I was unable to retain reputable tree service companies due to the large amount of damage done to my area. A former co-worker of my son contacted a roofer who in turn contacted this company. I was not familiar with him nor was he listed in the phone book, but he assured me that he was a licensed general contractor and insured. He did remove the tree but in the process he made tire ruts(some very deep) on the side of my lawn extending across my front yard to the other side of my driveway. This was due to him getting his cherry picker truck stuck on my property and accelerating(forward and reverse) attempting to get out. He promised to fix all the ruts with topsoil on the day that this occurred(7/**/14). He left his cherry picker in my driveway and left in his pick-up truck stating he was going to get topsoil and would return in the afternoon. He returned 7/**/14 without topsoil, retrieved his cherry picker, and again stated he was returning in the afternoon to fix the ruts he made. He never returned. I attempted to contact him numerous times during the week, but received no response. I then emailed him on 7/**/14 informing him that I no longer want to do business with him. He returned 7/**/14 and filled some of the deep ruts with the poorest quality dirt. The dirt looks as if he obtained it from the landfill. It is mixed with numerous amounts of rocks, broken concrete, macadam and pieces of straw. The deep rut on the side of my driveway was filled with rocks from my driveway. I have spent days picking out rocks and debris in order to plant grass. It is overwhelming and I must hire a landscaper in order to correct the mess he created. He did not even attempt to correct the ruts left across my lawn. He was paid $3000.00 through my homeowners insurance and I have yet to receive a written statement for the shoddy "work" he did. Please help.Desired Settlement: I want him to pay for the damage he caused.
