Registered to stay at this motel for 2 nights due to working out of town to assist Covid patients as a nurse. I walked into the room and everything appeared to look ok... in the beginning! I then went to get into the shower and saw that half of the towels were used and soiled and there was one of them hanging on the back of the door when I closed the door! I also found that the second bed in the room had crumbs all through the bed and sheets and had been used after further investigation! The bath tub didn't work and the parts to the bath tub were falling off and floating in the water retaining in the tub! With all of the health crisis issues going on at this time!!!! I certainly don't want to be the nurse that brings sickness in to my patients!!!! Someone is going to get very sick from these practices if they haven't already!

Desired Outcome

Refund This was a traumatic experience for me as a healthcare nurse and in a crisis situation!!!! I would be appreciative if they could refund the charges for this stay. If I had, had another option and opportunity to go to another hotel I would have. I had no choice but to stay here with the terrible service and provisions provided. You do not get what you pay for in this establishment!

On April 29, 2020, the guest checked into our hotel. The following morning her daughter called the front desk and spoke with the Front Desk Manager, stating the room they were staying in had standing water in the tub, a dirty towel behind the door, and crumbs and toenail clippings in the bed. The Front Desk Manager went up to their room to discuss the issues with them and see how she could resolve the situation. She showed them a different room, which they were satisfied with, so she offered to move them, and they refused to move. This tells me that there no issues with their room. The intent was to get a free room.

The guest waited until the morning of April 30, 2020, to declare the issues with the room when she clearly would have seen them the previous evening. If the issues were truly there, I would think she would have called immediately to the desk and would have wanted some sort of restitution and moved. Another fact is she was scheduled to check out on May 1, 2020, and instead extended her stay another night. I helped the guest the morning of May 2, 2020, with some banking she needed done on the business computer, never once did she mention she had an issue with her room. Never once did she mention it at check out or any other time.

I take the cleanliness of my hotel very seriously, along with the customer service. My team did everything they could to accommodate the guest.

This is untrue information!
It was stated that they didn't have enough cleaning staff.
And when offered to change rooms we did From 212 to 218! The reason that it was not taken care of the night before was because my daughter had no idea how to first off, I had went to work very shortly after check in second of all!
I shouldn't have to inspect the entire room to make sure that their employees do their jobs!
