note that this receipt, dated March 2, 2014, was signed by the customer or her companion Juan Rivera. The receipt shows that the customer tendered cash in the amount of $248.37 on February 28, 2014, which cash was refunded on the same day in lieu of a credit card payment, also in the amount of $248.37. The hotel charges are listed underneath the credit card payment. Because [redacted] and [redacted] left early, there was an adjustment made in the amount of $86.39. This money was refunded to them via credit on March 5, 2014, as shown on her bank statement (see enclosed). Again, this receipt was signed on the bottom by the customer or her companion during hotel check out, a) verifying that they did indcc.d receive a $248.37 refund in cash on February 28, 2014, b) authorizing Quality Inn to charge Juan Rivera’s visa for $24837, and c) reflecting that Quality Inn did credit $86.39 back to their card.
Earlier this year, while reviewing our 2014 records, Quality Inn realized that the . processor did not batch the charges for several days in 2014. One of the charges in question was for the initial $248.37 transaction with [redacted] and [redacted]l Please note that at this point, Quality Inn had already returned $86.39 to the customer, as per her bank statement, giving her a net positive of $86.39; whereas, Quality Inn never received the initial $248.37, consisting now of the $161.98 in actual charges for their stay, plus the $86.39 we already refunded before ever receiving payment. 
As a result of the review, Quality Inn batched this charge of $248.37 recently. [redacted] herself admits that these charges only showed up on her bank statements this year and not previously. Since she and her companion were provided a cash refund and the credit card on record was not charged $248.37 previously, by her own admission, it stands to reason that Quality Inn is correct in saying she and her companion owe money for their 2014 stay at the hotel, as well as the credit Quality Inn provided before ever receiving payment from them. This is why Quality Inn charged the credit card now - for money Quality Inn was already owed.
We regret that it took so long to notice the accounting error but this was not an attempt at to cheat the customer. Quality Inn is simply seeking what was rightfully owed.
We hope this letter, as well as accompanying evidence, suffices in explaining the circumstances behind this complaint.
It is therefore requested that please dismiss this complaint and please remove the same from the Revdex.com website.Thank you for your assistance and cooperation on this matter.Truly yours,

I’m contacting you in search of the proper organization to lodge my complaint against the Quality Inn, located at [redacted], in Pottstown. Specifically, I registered on-line on the 16th of May 2013, confirmation # [redacted]1. Upon contacting the general manager last week, I was told that the quoted rate of $90.00 per night would not be honored and that to be included in the [redacted] Family Reunion Group I’d have to pay a $99.00 per night rate. While confirming the specific group inclusion and the $90.00 rate are noted in my original reservation, the manager was adamant about the rate change and was apparently attempting void the commitment made to the Reunion Group in May of 2013. The group of (50) persons minimally, has utilized the facility on previous occasions. We’ve never had a problem before and have been courteous visitor . Please register this complaint of the management’s refusal to honor my initial registration and price changing. This amounts to a bait and switch tactic.Desired Settlement: Honor initial $90.00 per night rate quoted at registration
