apartment. I contacted [redacted] and heating contractor, [redacted] responded to the building that day. [redacted] contacted me while he was at the building servicing the furnace stating the furnace was working fine, but that the thermostat was set at 50 degrees. The thermostat is located on the wall in a common area outside the tenants apartment. [redacted] completed a preventative service of the furnace and turned up the thermostat before leaving.On Sunday December 7, tenant attempted to call our office while we were closed. Her call was forwarded to our answering service and her message was sent to me via text message. I called the same HVAC company that day, but was not able to speak with anyone as they were also closed on Sunday. I did leave a message with the heating contractor asking them to check the furnace again as soon as possible, however.On Monday December 8, [redacted] again responded to the building and found the thermostat again set at 50 degrees. He called me, turned the thermostat back up and left the building. Later that morning I called the tenant to let her know to check the thermostat outside her unit if it got cold in her unit again.Out tenant was understandably frustrated and stated that she had had no heat since November 30.
