Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: This job was not done properly otherwise we both would not be here in the first place He had no dealings or contact with my insurance company I handed him the job on my own without my insurance being involved with him as I was given that option Therefore I have no idea what he is talking about If the Bureau need evidence of such it can be furnished upon request I did not agree with him to put off-the-market used, worn parts on my car, and until today I have not seen the parts he replaced which should be shown to me by NY law, and he did not list the job done to my car and the cost of the parts This man is making up stories because he is shocked and embarrassed as he never thought I would report him to the Bureau because he bought old, scratched and worn parts to repair my car after he promised to put new parts on my car with warranty for the cost of $4, I am not pleased with the service and the parts on my car doesn't fit and his excuse is that the dealer won't sell him the original parts for my car When I check the dealer they told me it is a lie and that they sell new parts to anyone who want to buy for any car no matter how old After paying him that much to fix my car, I could not believe he would not even put one new parts on my car! Such a shame that he was so desperate for the money that it was hard for him to spend it on my car, I am completely disappointed If anyone including me, is paying that much to repair a car, don't you think at some point one or more of the parts should be new? unbelievable! My issue with the business hasn't been resolved and I have not accepted his response as the statements thereof are false I have been living in New York since July and been working since then My accident occurred on 12/*/and a police report is attached as proof of same Therefore, is my car could not be parked on the side of the road for months Also my personal life and finances has nothing do with this matter as I did pay him $cash to repair my car After paying him $4000, all he could do is put all worn and used parts on my car after we had an agreement that he would me me warrant on all the parts used He didnot give me a detailed list of the things he done on the car as he refused to do so The cost of the back light brand new cost about $and this man could not purchase a new light or mirror for my car, instead he placed an old used light and mirror on my car and then he glued in the mirror The rear and side door he claimed he fixed doesn't close properly as it might not be the correct Toyota doorHe then painted the inside of the door and cover the evidence to match the vin# of the door he placed with door he took off so I wouldn't' be able to tell if he uses the correct door My antenna was missing and he argued with me the customer and called me a liar I have to show him picture I took before and when I gave him the car for repairs, to show that the antenna was there ( a picture of this is attached)The bumper he placed on my car is the wrong size and he painted my car with mismatch color paint that doesn't match the original colorMy car bumper and the inside was left messy from over spraying, scratches on the front hood that was no there before, the tail light used and worn lie the old mirrors My point is, I paid him $and such desperation for cash on his part that he could not even put even one new part on my car; unbelievable! For him to be recommended by my neighbor he must have done good work for him, but he couldn't do so for me as I am a female, he thrives on my ignorance of knowing about a carI feel violated, robbed and bullied by this man The back bumper he replaced as it is not the right size didn't fits o it is hanging showing space in between also the back door is showing a gap All these issues I pointed out to him and he agreed to correct same but keep on putting me off each time until now, the last time I told him I wont wait any longer as I paid him already, he became boisterous and refused to redo the jobI had to clean the car myself as he refused and I had personal stuff in the car and he lost my shoe, again, he agree to pay for same then refused afterPlease help me in the best way possible as I am a very displeased customer and would not like him to take disadvantage of another female the way he do me Thanking you in advance

Review: I am a new resident here in New York and was referred to this auto shop by my neighbor as my car(Toyota Rav4 2005) been involved in an accident. It got hit in the driver side front and left back light and fender damage. I owed $9256 on my car so the insuramce wrote it off as a total loss paying me $7007.99 for the car to the Lienholder so I am left to pay the balance of $2248 to the Lienholder plus $4000.00 for repairs to my car all on my own. Point is, I advised the auto shop of all this and he told and he promised to get my car repaired for $4000 in 2 weeks, with warranty on the parts used. The 2 weeks turned into 2 months, I couldn't get my car from him as he kept making me promises and each week he told me another date. By this time I lost the rental provided by the insurance company they refused to pay beyond three weeks so all of that cost for the rental is also left on me and I am a single mother. I could't get to work on time as I worked in Yonkers and have to get my kids to school as well. For weeks I turned up for work late thus resulting in the loss of my job! Upon receiving the car it was all dirty and stinky with all kinds of rubble in it and loose paints, dust and dirt on some parts of the interior and seats. The door is not closng properly, the back fender doest't fit and is much smaller than the origional,the right and back door cannot close properly, the back light that he replaced that was hit in the accident is old and all scrathed up, thecolor paint he used is different from the original color of the car He lost the pole off my car and a foot of my shoe that was left in the car along with some other personal stuff. After I showed him pics of the car with the pole he replaced it with a cheaper one and now I can't pick up th radio stations clearly. The inside driver door handle was broken and he glued it in after I took it back to him. He refuses to give me warranty as promised and list the things he did and so much more he did to my car that is so wrong!Desired Settlement: I consulted another mechanic and was told the job isn't worth $4000.00 also the parts he used are old and seems as if they were alreay involved in a crash and he repaied them and put them on my car. I would like to get the original parts put back on my car and the right color and the door replaced without being glued in case of an electrical problem they won't have to break through the glue to fix same. Woulf like a full refund of $4000.00 I paid and and apology as he has been very disrespectful
