Anytime personal items are missing it’s stressful for both the owner and for the innocent people suspected of taking them While we understand [redacted] ’s frustration in not finding his laptop computer, we hope he will understand our need to defend ourselves when being accused of something we did not do.Our hotel manager and staff cooperated fully and willingly with the police in searching for [redacted] ’s computer, carefully reviewing security camera footage of anyone coming or going from [redacted] ’s guest room from the time he last saw his computer to the time he checked out The police also thoroughly searched the rooms of our onsite employees Even empty rooms were searched Absolutely no evidence was found of a missing computer or of any hotel staff member improperly entering [redacted] ’s room [redacted] ’s did not mention missing jewelry to the hotel staff or to the police during the thorough search, but just as no evidence was found of a computer being stolen, no evidence of jewelry being touched or taken by anyone was found either.The police asked [redacted] ’s to check his own personal belongings in the event it was overlooked while packing or loading into his vehicle or trailer They asked him to let them know if they did not find it, and if not, would press charges at his request No charges have been filed Perhaps [redacted] ’s has found his property among his things As mentioned, it is stressful to find things missing and we do not blame [redacted] ’s for being unhappy or suspicious However, after such a thorough search of the hotel and security camera footage, we hope he will look elsewhere for his possessions for we are absolutely certain no member of our hotel staff took them

Mrs*** has been at this location for a while and is a valued guestShe and *** ***, our area manager have spoken via email a few times and spent a while on the phone earlier this weekThere have been a few miscommunications in regards to whom was contacting whom and how Mr*** was
arranging things to be completedThis led to Mrs*** feeling like things were not being handled and escalated thingsAt the time of this complaint, the exterior doors had already been repaired as the parts arrived on siteThe a/c has been fixed in her room now and the room has been made available to her againWe also understand the inconvenience and has compensated her by giving her a few weeks at no costWe are glad she has brought these items to our attention and can say we have taken the steps to rectify them as wellIn the last conversation with Mrs*** and Mr***, they had a constructive dialog and ended the call quite pleasantlyAs I am ware now, Mrs*** is happy with the resolution and will continue to be a valued guestWe hope she continues to enjoy here stay and she has been asked to make Mr*** aware if there is anything in the future that she needs

The hotel staff enter my temporary place of residency without prior notification In committing this act, the hotel assumes liability for any property removed from an occupants room.The checkout policy clearly states an AM checkout timeThe staff enter the room before AM under an assumption that my Family had completely checked out and wouldn't be returningDuring the time frame in question there were at least three individuals with complete access to the entire building occupying my temporary living quartersI will only be satisfied with the return of my property and/or the fair-market value that it would be replaced for although personal effects have no monetary value to their owners I do believe that not all parties involved would commit this act, but the responsibility to make amends lies with this establishment

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI also wanted to add that I appreciate the Management of Wood Springs understanding the importance of my issuesI also appreciate *** calling to speak with me and get a mutual understanding of the communication disconnect and the over expression of my concernAll is true as to what was stated as the issues have been resolved and comp was issued for a few weeksI am very grateful that not only myself but the whole building is now a bit saferI also want to give special Thanks to ***berly and the onsite staff here at Wood Springs for keeping me abreast of what what was happening and trying to make the accommodations as comfortable and less stressful as possibleThey all do their best to keep the guest happy here! Although I do not plan to be here forever, the experiences I have had has shown me that good things can come form difficult situations and although is my temporary home - I can say that I feel safe now and do not mind calling it just thatHome! Thanks again to the "forces that be" that got everything up and running and I have returned to my room and all is wellYou have my sincere appreciation
