Bad service was very rude yelled at me and friend about how they need to do something on the car that didn't need to be touched

Good morning, Here is the our answer for complaint # [redacted] Quantum Auto Sales has a 30-Day/1,miles policy, which serves as a COURTESY for our customers that find any MECHANICAL issues with their vehicles at the time of sale, or within the first days of purchase or 1,miles, whichever comes firstThe problem with the Toyota Sequoia was resolved and customer was satisfied when he picked up unit the past Saturday 10/17/Quantum Auto Sales never got a call from customer to let us know that the problem continueWe have tried to reach customer several times leaving messages to set up an appointment and see if we can help to resolve any issues [redacted] Office Manager Quantum Auto Sales Harbor Blvd Garden Grove, CA T714-265- C [redacted] F714-265-

In correspondence to claim number [redacted] To whom it may concern On 1/25/Quantum Auto sales sold [redacted] a Jeep Liberty VIN [redacted] as is no warrantyCustomer refused to purchase extended warranty and signed documents understanding she was purchasing a used vehicle as is On 1/27/customer came to dealer with concern of sliding roof not working properlyAs a courtesy dealer inspected sliding roof and advised customer sliding roof was not repairable and had no warrantyAdvised customer dealer was only able to close and secure roofCustomer also advised sliding roof would not be operable, upon customer approval roof was secured and closedThe dealer never gave an estimate of $as we do not do those types of repairs at our dealer If any questions may arise please feel free to contact ou dealership [redacted]

We spoke to customers several times trying to offer to fix most of the problems, they just needed to come up with the cost of parts since the main problem occurred way after the day of the purchase but customers didn't agreeThey drop off the car and didn't come back

Hi good morning once again my name is [redacted] and I'm responding to complain ID number [redacted] I understand the customer in regards to the times that he deal with some of the personnel at the dealer I apologize for any inconvenience but after that we have offered the customer to fix the car The only thing he would have to do is bring it to the dealer and allows us the time for us to work on it so we can make this right for him but continuously for the third time he has refused to work with us so at this point I don't know what else to do to try to work with the customer if he comes to the conclusion that he does want to take our help and wants to contact us he could do so at ***-***- [redacted] or directly to my cell phone ***-***- [redacted] and I'll be glad to sit down and Talk this over with him and reach an agreement that will satisfy both parties and bring this complaints to a conclusionThank you again and advance

A [redacted] representing quantum auto sales today I'm responding to a complaint that was submitted on June 5, 2016 ID number [redacted] this is pertaining to Mr. [redacted] I just wanted to let you know that Mr. [redacted] and quantum auto sales have reached an agreement the agreement was reached on June 11 20 16th Mr. [redacted] was switched onto a different vehicle of his request which is a 2006 Toyota Sequoia at this point both parties are satisfied with the transaction in the agreement that we have reached if you may have any further questions feel free to contact me at [redacted] or directly to my office [redacted] thank you so much.

Contract was approved and honored thru Wells Fargo, we believe customer is satisfied now, he was at Dealership yesterday to pay the rest of the down payment. We apologize for the delay on the financing process.

I went back within the week to get it unsealed and still they did not inform me it was unfixable once I got it back it still lifted [redacted] ***, *** the salesmen, and a few employees saw me there upset since it was not fixed right and Thomas the mechanic had left before I got there to inspec the car [redacted] the manager had me come back once again and told me that he would get it fixed right and clean the mess that the mechanic did on my roof and seats (since they are beige and it had black stains, which he didnt!) but when I came back days later he came and told me that it couldnt be fixed and that it would cost me $for them too because it needed a new roof railThe dealership sold me a car with a roof rail that was broken! They should not be allowed to sell or do business if they are selling cars that have broken pieces or arent fixed properlysince the first day I got it I was told by [redacted] that they will fix the roof since it was completely detached from the back and flappingI did not notice until I was far from the dealer I called [redacted] and was told to come on that Monday that is negligence from the dealership that could of caused an accident.the car should of been inspected by the dealership and customers should be inform if anything is brokenI dont understand why the dealership is trying to make up a different version of the events and say they never told me an estimate or that I was only there once their employees saw me plenty of times they will come up to me and ask me why I was there again, [redacted] the receptionist knew why and how many times ive came, also of their salesmenthe dealership had me waste my time throughout the whole month for five days going thereall the five times I went was to fix the roof and it also included an oil change and the last time new brakes since I complainedThe salesman that sold me the car informed me that the five time I went and complained about the roof and other problems that the mechanic Thomas did not do anything whatsoever I would of not wasted my time and money to go there if I would of been informed two days after I purchased the car if that would had been the case I would of left the car there on the second day and left them keep my deposit, not made my first payment to the finance company, and bought insurance.] Regards, [redacted]

Hi good afternoon [redacted] my name is [redacted] with Quantum Auto Sales And I'm responding to the complaint that was generated against our business ID number [redacted] originally at the time of sales all our customers are told that all cars are sold as is but as a courtesy we do give them days or miles to help them with any mechanical problems this customer has been back to our location several times for different matters which we attended every single one of them even though he had expired the thousand miles and the days The last time when he came on 10-06-The request that he made was for us to fix the evaporation System which he requested at the time four months after The purchase of the vehicle so we fixed the vehicle at no cost then he came back again with the catalyst converter problem at that time the mechanic notice the mileage on the car the car was sold with 121,miles when he brought it in the last time the mileage was 137,when he was asked why the car had so much mileage customer said that he use the car as a commercial vehicle for [redacted] at this point to extend our courtesy to our customer we will continue to assist him fixing his vehicle but he has to assume some responsibility we are willing to cover the labor and installation as long as he covers the parts and the vehicle will have to be fixed at our location if the customer agrees to this he could reach me directly at ***-***- [redacted] or ***-***- [redacted] thank you again [redacted] [redacted] Quantum Auto Sales

Response to [redacted] Complaint filed 09/26/ Case [redacted] Quantum Auto Sales understands the disappointment you must have felt when you realized that the fuse box inside the trunk was burnedThe dealership took full responsibility for the issues pertaining to Mr [redacted] BMW and we were able to replace the fuse box and wiringWe also fixed the problem with the air conditioner In regards to the [redacted] fees, the dealer reimbursed Mr [redacted] $dollars for the overcharge The [redacted] fees are estimated and all customers are reimbursed of any difference once their vehicle is registered Although all of Mr [redacted] concerns with the vehicle were taken care of, he was aggravated and used negative remarks and profanities against our ManagersMr [redacted] was also given a reimbursement check of $dollars for the towing of his vehicle, but after several attempts to come to terms with him, the check was voidedMr [redacted] was also offered to return the vehicle because he was displeasedMr [redacted] took the vehicle with him after all The next day, our business sent out a new check for $reimbursement for the towing fees and a letter of apology for the unfortunate disputeMr [redacted] also received a follow up phone call from our [redacted] and he stated to be pleased with the final results to his issues

Review: Okay I went and bought a car on Thursday March 19, 2015 at Quantum Auto Sales and after I purchased the vehicle, Saturday March 21, 2015 around 8:00 P.M I went to go get in it and it wouldnt start I had to jump start it and then with in 48 hours I had to jump start it more than 2 times. On Monday March 23,2015 I had an appointment with Quantum but I had to have a State trooper inspect it because the hazard light swith was broke off and they told us that it was on there when we purchased the car but when I test drove it the switch was not there, there was oil all over the engine. On Monday March 23,2015 we went down there and they told us that the battery was dead and that we had to replace it which really in truly they should have to replace it and also when we purchased the car they didnt even fill the gas tank up because most car lots do put a full tank of gas in it. The inside of the car was not clean at all the glove box had stuff in it from the last person that had the vehicle. The salesman told us that it was a great vehicle and that he would put a family in it to go to [redacted] and failed to tell us everything that was wrong with the car. Also on Monday March 23,2015 we went down to Quantum and they told us that they was going to send me a 21 day certified letter and that if I didnt pick up the car that they were going to repos the car. I do not want this vehicle its not a safe vehicle to put anybody in.Desired Settlement: Be refunded the down payment that we put down which was $500.00 Cash

After speaking to the customer about the review he sent to the Revdex.com, I went over my recollection of the conversation we had upon return of the vehicle to us and the inconsistencies that lie between the review and our recollection. He agreed that the conversation we had had been misrepresented in his review. Below I will lay out what the customer then and I agreed was discussed that day:After speaking with our inspection station who had just finished up with the state trooper the customer called, they expressed that, they can not remember the exact car as they inspect multiple vehicles an hour, but that is not something they have ever missed before. After two shops go over a car for safety inspection, it’s typically a safe bet that they both don’t miss the same thing. Although it is said in the review that the switch was not there on the test drive, it was never mentioned until they decided they didn’t want the car anymore. The state trooper deemed that there was nothing that should not have been inspected or sold.Although there were a few minor oil leaks (as there typically will be on a 19 year old vehicle) there was no noticeable change in any of the fluids even when the customer stated they did not refill any of them.The battery in the vehicle was weak, and even though there were no starting issues upon the purchase of this “as is” vehicle we would be more than happy to put one in for them at no cost if they would supply the battery.After the customer explained that they were having a family emergency and might have some major and unexpected bills coming through, they expressed that they would not be able to afford the car payment, all repairs aside. We offered to hold the vehicle for 21 days to see if they could get their finances straightened out to keep the car, and if they could not, we would not hold them responsible for the remainder of the debt. Both parties agreed that that was more than fair, and after they asked for their down payment back, they were told that we typically don't do that, since the cars are “as is” and there is no return policy.I was shocked when I read the account that was given in the review and when I asked him why there were the divergence from what we had actually discussed, he explained that he was trying to get his money back because he was spending money he didn’t have on something else. That, however, is no excuse for changing the truth and slandering anyone on the internet and who knows where else.

Rude arrogant manager very un open to discussion of contract and explanations. Was told to sue them for more information. Can't believe that they operate this way to customers.

Review: We bought this car last monday and from day one it has been in the shop. Thursday they sent us home with it saying it was fixed not sure exactly what the problem is, they have put three new parts on it. On the way home the car cut off three times on the highway, I am currently pregnant and this is a big safety hazard and not safe to drive so I took it back. They drove it said nothing is wrong with it and sent me on again. It does not stop cutting off on me, in the three days I have driven it since I bought it I am terrified to go anywhere. It cuts off turning in intersections, at lights, on the highway and last night coming up a mountain. This is a big risk for me to put myself in a car where I am going to get rear ended or killed. All I ask is that they fix the problem or switch out cars and they refuse to do either. Im tired of this and as I said very scared for mine and my childrens lives. There has to be something I can do.Desired Settlement: I just want a safe car that actually runs, or my money back to go purchase a car from a dealership that will actually care or help.

I am writing you in regards to the conversation we previously had regarding the above complaint. First of all, I would like to clear up the inconsistencies with the complaint and what happened with Ms. [redacted].

Ms. [redacted]'s 1994 Dodge Shadow was in at our shop every day since the day that they bought the car. The first day she brought it back, the problem they said they had was there and upon having them sign a goodwill acknowledgment contract, we fixed it at no cost to them and even gave them a loaner car so they could get home that day. From then on, they brought it back every day and after putting a combined total of well over 50 miles on the car and driving it for hours at a time, taking them on test drives with us, we could not get it to reproduce what they said was happening.

I told Ms. [redacted] that unless we could get the car to duplicate the symptoms they were complaining about, we could not fix it or trade them out. We put in hours upon hours of labor time and put three parts on the car to satisfy their complaints without charging them at all, all the while not getting the car to reproduce their issues.

Earlier this week, before we received or were notified about a Revdex.com complaint, when Ms. [redacted] showed up complaining about the same thing, we drove it and it did shut off on me personally while driving. Although it was low on gas, we did not question it but instead traded them into a different car.

Ms. [redacted]s complaint was inconsistent with the truth and after speaking to her, she agreed to take the complaint down. I would like to make sure that this happens and was writing this response for your records.
