Dear [redacted] ,Regarding the above referenced complaint, customer originally ordered inch wedding sparklers on 3/18/The sparklers were delivered to customer via [redacted] Ground on 3/20/and signed for by [redacted] , with no notation of damage at time of receipt A copy of the signed delivery receipt is attached.On 4/22/2014, the customer contacted our customer service department to request a return authorization for the sparklers, which was provided (customer responsible for return shipping), At the time of this request, the customer stated they needed to return the sparklers because they could not ship them to Mexico, where their wedding was to be heldAt no time during this conversation with our customer service representative did customer mention any damage to the sparklers at the time of original receipt.On 4/24/2014, our warehouse received the sparklers back, which were totally mangled and brokenThe sparklers were completely unusableIf customer had received the sparklers in this condition at time of original delivery, they would have found the sparklers to be completely unusable and would have certainly contacted us at that time to have the sparklers replacedWe believe the damage to the sparklers was done during the return shipment to our warehouse, and customer is therefore responsible for filing a claim with the carrier they used for reimbursement of costs.For the reasons stated above, the request for refund on this order has been denied.Sincerely,

I have made every attempt to file claim with their carrier (***) both receiving the shipment and returning the shipment to no avail. Meanwhile the damaged items are back in the position of said fireworks co., which upon their inspection of a couple boxes alone, we were expected to accept all items are destroyed and have no valueItems were returned exactly as received, in exactly the same packaging as first shipped, via the same carrier and methodYes, our stated reason for returning the items was because we could not air freight the items, but that had nothing to do with the condition of the items (how they were received), which we were prepared to use anywayThey have made no attempt to honor my return, and simply state there is nothing further they can do, and are still in position of my property, and money
