This a horrible company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They rented the condo above me to a guy that has no respect for anyone! When I paid to check out the guy, I found out he had been incarcerated in a mental institution more than once...Must of not helped, for he is extremely disruptive to all the tenants living anywhere near him. I have contacted QCPM multiple times concerning his behavior and they just want the condo kept occupied so they can get paid their property management company fees. It is 12:35 am right now and he has been home all day, but he has decided now to use his loud broken washing machine, preventing anyone located near him to be awakened by the awful noise. So do no rent any property near one managed by QCPM!

Review: I contacted this business about their policy for securing a rental property. They informed me I had to fill out their rental application which I did for a fee of 20.00. I then contact their office on may occasions if they reviewed/looked at my application which they never did. At one point a week after I submitted the application to them on their website no one even had looked at the application and I was just told to contact them later. I informed them I wanted the fee refunded back since I never received any service from them. They were to refund the fee back on pay lease. At this point no refund. Very bad customer service and follow up with the customer.Desired Settlement: I want the refund, either back to my original card payment or a check send to me for the 20.00 application fee plus the processing fee of 2.90 for total of 22.90.

I own a home and rent it through QCPM, and I am furious with them. My last renter moved out because qcpm wouldn't fix anything in the house. my yard is fenced and last year when the wind storm hit Helena it blew down the fence, which I was never informed of. They did not fix or attempt to fix it until June then charged me 600 dollars for it. I have all the fencing in my garage but they bought new stuff. I was charged 300 dollars to fix a 6"x 6" hole in a wall and all the guy did was cut a piece of dry wall and stick it in, no plaster or tape no paint. I could go on and on. My major problem is getting my deposit into my account. I was told rent was due on the 5th and should be in my account by the tenth. Today is the 19 of January and I had to email them AGAIN to ask if my deposit was made. This happened last month and this month and usually about every other month.
I have saved all the email I have with this company
because I have has to complain a lot and most of the time they are very snootty reply's back from them . They will not be renting my house any long, and I will NOT recommend them to anyone ever. They are worthless

Review: Although there was serious laxity in communicating with us when searching for a house rental, my significant other and I offered to lease a property from QCMC at [redacted]. Prior to finalization of the lease, the owner of the property stated that there were serious septic issues and the property would not be available to rent. We called QCMC multiple times specifically asking to speak with the manager Erin Clement or the owner, [redacted] in an effort to obtain additional information regarding these problems. The receptionist [redacted] continued to state that neither was available, but promised that we would receive a call that night, which did not happen. The next day began a string of emails following another unsuccessful call attempt. I made it crystal clear by phone and email that we desired a call back from the manager and/or the owner to verbally explain the situation to us. Alas, despite being told again that the owner would contact us on 5/14/13, we received no phone call or correspondence of any kind from [redacted]. They did specifically say they had received our check and were going to not cash it until it was determined what was going to happen. With the utter failure of communication on the part of QCMC, the next morning 5/15/13, we decided to stop payment on our check and cancel our lease prior to finalizing the contract. We notified QCMC of this by email as Ms Clement preferred this method of communication. We specifically asked them to shred our check as we had stopped payment and that due to their severe lack of courtesy and professionalism, we had no desire to work with them. On 5/29/13, I received a text from the owner: "A check was returned. This requires the Police and bad check charges." Needless to say, we were flabbergasted, not only at the gall of QCMC to attempt to cash our check after we told them we stopped payment, but also at their attempt to threaten us with law enforcement.Desired Settlement: Obviously, we require them to withdraw the threat to bring in law enforcement as well as cease and desist contacting us in any way whatsoever. If they do not, then legal action will probably ensue.

My boyfriend and I have had nothing but problems with QCPM. I urge anyone pursuing a rental with this business to escape while you can. It is not worth the trouble or time to deal with the utter unprofessionalism that is QCPM. To keep my rant short and sweet here is the condensed version.

1) Not being given notice for a realtor to show the house. A relator nearly entered our home (with a key QCPM provided them) after being assured by QCPM that we had been given notice. WRONG.

2) Maintenance concerning the heater taking over 6 MONTHS to be fixed (even after multiple attempts to address this issue with QCPM). Did I mention the heater broke in February? This is Montana. That is unacceptable. Apparently QCPM only has one maintenance man who works on all of their properties. ONE.

4) Eviction notices being served because of bills being overdue. Bills supposedly sent from QCPM themselves, yet mysterious not received by us, equals a 3 day eviction notice taped to our door.

5) Legal documents drafted by QCPM (including the previously mentioned bogus eviction notice) being full of legal errors. (My boyfriend is a lawyer and immediately spotted them). Watch out people, shady stuff is going on.

6) QCPM somehow lost their copy of the keys to our place and asked us to loan our keys to them so they could make a copy. After TWO WEEKS they still didn’t have a copy made and they ended up just giving the keys back. They had the gall to ask us to make a copy for them. Yeah right. Real professional’s here people.

7) Our rental is a home split into 2 apartments that share the same water and power meter. QCPM suggested I be the one that split those bills and have the downstairs tenant pay us directly for their portion. I thought, being a management company and all, that it was their responsibility to do the invoicing.

8) Communication within the business is obviously non-existent. No one has any idea what is going on and the person that does is probably out sick or on vacation. Don’t bother calling because no one will pick up. Physically driving to the office to speak with someone face to face isn’t much better.

In summary, if you want to waste your time dealing with the most unprofessional albeit largest management company in Helena, sign on the dotted line. However, if you like your sanity I highly recommend running away from any rental property managed by QCPM. Don’t make the mistake we did. No matter how awesome the property is, dealing with QCPM is not worth the effort in the long run. Trust me.
