Review: On 3/**/14, I made a purchase at the fruit and vegetables shop. The cashier, a middle-aged Oriental woman, checked me out. At one point I noticed that she put $.99 per pound price for an item advertised for $.79 per pound, so I corrected her. However, I was unable to see the amounts she was ringing up: the display above her cash register was not working. The charge of $24.59 was put on my credit card but is seemed a little higher than I expected. Right away I asked for the cash register receipt in addition to the credit card charge receipt. It contained several charges including one of $11.51. I knew that none of the items I purchased (couple of tomatoes and apples, a cucumber, a red pepper, bunch of radishes, $1.99 container of strawberries and a small package of grapes) could be priced over $3.00. I showed the receipt to the woman and asked her what the larger charge was for. She became very hostile and rude right away. She took the case register receipt from me and argued that it was right. On my request she started re-checking my purchase and was showing a wrong attitude throughout: she was tossing the fruits and vegetables on and off the scale so hard that I asked her to stop crashing it. The charge came to $11.55! A thirteen dollars overcharge on an eleven dollars purchase! The woman processed a credit of $24.59 and a charge of $11.55 to the same card but threw a bag with my stuff in a basket that was located at least four feet away from her register. She did not even put the rest of my items in a shopping bag and I had to do it myself. She never apologized for robbing me and kept demonstrating hostility and annoyance, as if I wronged her!! When I got home, I noticed that the tomatoes, pepper and grapes were all smashed and apples bruised and unusable.Desired Settlement: Apology and refund of the money I paid for the produce
