Quick Cash Pawn of Roxboro ([redacted])continues to send my phone duplicate text messages after I called them and told them that this is my new number and not the individual you are trying to contact. [redacted] told me that once the number goes into the database, that it could not be removed. I told him his business is harassing me, disturbing my sleep and asked again to stop texting. I even gave them my name, address and birth date. I have never done business with them, nor would I ever do business with the likes of them. I have tried blocking them and they use another number and continue to send the text messages and yes, I do have copies of them. I want them to cease and decease or I will get an attorney and sue the pants off them. They have to realize people change numbers or move, so the info they have in their system is going to change. I sent my daughter to purchase a lawnmower from pawn shop. I tried to using mower & never started. No oil in it. Called an male CSR laughed.$119 gone!I sent my daughter to Person County on Friday at Quick Cash Pawn because Durham county didnt have any. She said a representative was using the mower. So Saturday evening we tried to mow grass. It never started. I looked it up on internet an [redacted] website said it could be the spark plug . So I checked the mower for gas,and oil had separate tank for oil. It had some gas but the oil resovoir was bone dry. I went to [redacted] an purchased spark plug, spark plug remover, and oil. I stopped and got gallon of gas. We put gas in, pulled out oil stick and it was clean,. WI put the oil in an spark plug it never started but a wire with a spring attached fell from under top cover. Someone had attachedIm assuming as a cranking mechanism. I called Monday an spoke to a male CSR an he laughed and told me it was running when it left here and he couldn't help me. I stated you probably blowed up engine because it wasn't a drop of oil in itDesired SettlementI would like to get my money back, or refund the repair bill because I disabled and can't afford to buy another one, the money I used to purchase was my utility bill money so I'm going to have to have it repaired. I personally assisted the customer and showed her how to adjust the cutting height. We loaded it up and she was on her way. This mower was in good condition and started easily. There was oil and a limited amount of gas in the mower, at time of sale. We have a all sales final policy and advise buyers of this, and it is displayed on our receipts. Customer is claiming that the mower was purchased with money that was supposed to be used for another bill. Sounds like she got the grass cut and wants to return the mower and get a refund to pay the other bill. We always try to make customers happy and would be glad to attempt to look at the mower, if she had returned it. We would offer her another mower, at a reduced price but we don't take back items, as per our policy. Please advise as we are interested in a good business reputation and cooperating with the resolution of this complaint. Thanks. Consumer Response Mr [redacted] stated the mover was working,because he was using it to mow company lawn,but what he didn't mention was the mower was rigged by a wire an a spring. We discovered it next day after moving it to try again. My opinion is the mower was being tested to see if the rig up would work and the wire and spring was the apparatus that kept it running. We didn't know where to put it is probably the reason it didn't start again. I learned a valuable lesson. I should have went to [redacted] and got one with a warranty. I wasn't feeling my best so I sent my daughter. I didn't know the company unethical,until I say the complaints from other locations or I would have waited. Poor judgment!It was confirmed when I called and he wasnt compassionate at all as a matter of fact he laughed an I was outraged that he tbought it was funny. The thing that was an insult is he ([redacted]) made a statement that I lack integrity. He stated I used the mower to mow my yard an I wanted my bill money back,because when be laughed I told him that was bill money. It was lack of integrity to sell merchandise and claim all sales final but when he discovered I reported him to Revdex.com he attacked my character because I used bill money I was dishonest. If he was a man of integrity an a reputable place of business why is it that all sales are final yet after Revdex.com inform him of my complant he is willing to exchange it but sell me another one at a discounted price. I'm still suppose to trust him again and give him more money. We all have bills and sometime have to spend the money for emergencies. I' m glad Mr [redacted] is fortunate that he dont have to pay bill. He has an executor to handle his finances. I had a riding mower, but it was stolen. I didnt want to charge anything and a friend of mind got a TV from them and it was ok. My daughter went to Roxboro to buy the mower on a late model truck [redacted] drove a late model [redacted] somehow I'm dishonest an mowed the grass an wanted the money back. [redacted] was totaled and I' m trying to find a car I can pay cash because I don't want a payment. [redacted] and if he don't want to stand behind his products he really should close shop. Ive asked God to take this because I have health issues an stress exacerbates the issues. [redacted]h, [redacted] etc. Moneys no object. No I decline on this offer because I really don't want to see nothing else out that store. My son bought me one today so I'm go take this one when I find a shop that does lawnmower repair. I bought a weed eater at [redacted] and the young sales representative said they fixed them but when I went back an asked the young man go take it out the truck he was inquisitive enough to ask did I buy it there and I said no. He went to check for me before he took it out but they only repair the ones under warranty purchased there. I truly think its something minor and the wire and spring was what kept ist started. It will crank but shuts off within seconds.If it had of been over $200 I would take him to the [redacted] because I don't think it"s legal to sell faulty equipment. Its a small engine and its a lemon![redacted] We not living large, but wait he not either because if he was someone else would be beating people out their money for him like he doing for who? [redacted]? HONESTLY! [redacted] WISH YOU LONG LIFE. YOU DONT NEED THE PROSPERITY BECAUSE YOU ALREADY GOT IT RIGHT? In his mind I'm desperate but trust me I have a family that loves me, we pull together if one don't have it there's someone in the family that does,I spent my bill money ,but a love one brought it back today plus some, so I'm good. Word to the wise, I wouldn't keep taking people money and letting then see or hear you laugh as if its a joke. Good luck!
