To Whom It May Concern,   Granite Student Living requires a move-in checklist upon possession of the unit. Once the lease has expired, a move out inspection with video is taken and damages are assessed to bring the unit back to move-in standards. When...

assessing any charges against the security deposit, Granite takes into account the provided move-in checklist, the lease, damages, and duration of occupancy. If someone deems the itemization of their security deposit unsatisfactory, Granite provides an formal inquiry system via email to raise an questions they may have. Their inquiry is then reviewed again to address any additional concerns. Granite limits the inquiry process to email so a thorough review can be conducted and any communication can be documented. All processes and procedures utilized by Granite fall within the limits of the lease and Indiana Code including painting and cleaning. This specific case follows these steps and processes and any concerns brought to Granite's attention have been addressed.
