customer came to Quick I repair with his damaged cellphone device for a repair on his power button we did quote a time of mins for this repairAfter working with the damaged device and having issues with the repair, we continued to work on
the device until the problem was solved and the button that did not work on the phone when brought to us did work after putting more time into the repair and problem solving the deviceQuick I repair once finished fixing the damaged device that was brought to them showed the customer the whole device and showed them the functionality of the part on the phone that didn't work before now workingThe customer agreed at that time that we did our job and was ready to pay, (even if it took us longer than quoted) and we fixed there problem and everything on the device was working properlyThe customer did pay while holding there repaired device in hand, I went over the warranty program to acknowledge that if the part replaced had any issues within days they could come back and see us and we would replace the part again for them under warrantyCustomer Left, Then he came back almost a whole hour later yelling and cussing at me telling me I messed up his phone and demanding were going to fix immediately on the spotI calmly talked to the customer and told him that we did not damage his phone the way it is displayed now, and we repaired the part he came to get fixed and was satisfied as he leftHe did not mention anything about something else wrong with his phone after Quick I Repair Fixed his first problem with his phoneThe customer came back and threatened to cancel transactions and send this letter the Revdex.com and its not rightWe are a business and if you get something repaired from us we check our back before we repair and after the repair to make sure we don't have any issues and so the customer can not put the blame on something we did not doThis Post should not be on this website as Quick I Repair has serviced the St.Louis county for almost years and have not had a complaint on Revdex.com

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/11/05) */
First of all we do not provide OEM parts here at this Repair shop and would never tell anyone that our parts are OEM. Quick I Repair has always used 3rd party parts as it would be illegal for us state we use Original manufactured parts from...

[redacted] We have never stated this and we provide a High Quality copy of the Iphone 6 screen/Lcd as most other shops do who do repairs on customers damaged cellphones. We have provided great work and customer service with all of our customers, we have a sign that states " Return Policy 30 DAY WARRANTY ALL SALES ARE FINAL NO REFUNDS" If there is a problem with the functionality of screen working properly as in the touch not being responsive and the LCD which is the picture having issues being clear or shows signs of dots on the screen we are fully responsible for this problem. The customers phone was damaged and they brought it to us for an estimate, after the estimate they agreed to go ahead with the repair, after the repair they looked at the phone and agreed that it was repaired it looked great and were happy that it only took a short period of time. We take care of our customers that have their phones repaired here and that have issues, the technician at the time looked over the phone and stated that it was 100% functional. We would never say we don't simply care about a customers problem, we have been in business long enough to show we have helped out the community of St. Louis. If the customer would like to come back I can replace there screen (1) more time for them but outside of that we do not refund, we only replace if the screen is having issues wihtin warranty. The device was damaged and brought to us meaning there can be risks of your frame being bent while the screen was broken causing the screen to pop up if this is in fact the real issue. We Serviced your phone for a screen repair only and are liable to that part and that part only within warranty. The customer is out of warranty but like I said above I am willing to help resolve the problem the customer is having with our product if they are willing to come up and get it done.

Review: On 5/31/2013, I visited Quick I Repair in the mall to get my iPhone front glass replace because mine cracked. I picked up my phone after waiting for 30 or so minutes. The sales person when through and showed me that the phone worked. I pressed the home button on my phone and noticed that the button was not flush with the glass. He said that the glass sometimes does not set flush with the front glass because it is not an original piece. I said ok, and left because I had tons of errands to run. As I left the mall and began to play with it in my car I noticed that it was the home button that was messed up. When I pressed down on it, it sometimes stays stuck behind the glass because the button is set in there crooked. When you are not pressing on it, you can see the home button sets in there tilted. Since I was already on the highway heading in the opposite direction, I thought I would take my phone back on Sunday 6/2/2013 to fix the problem since they guarantee their work. I was shocked to see that they no longer where in the mall. I went to the mall office and asked about the kiosk. The mall stated that the company did not renew their lease. I have been in contact with a [redacted] via email, but he wants me to ship my phone to an undisclosed location to fix my phone. Shipping my phone is NOT a part of the warranty agreement. I cannot begin to explain how big of a problem I have with this. My husband is a disabled Veteran and my phone is our primary source of a phone. A phone in which his doctors reach me and for a way my husbands caregiver reaches me when their are problems. Even if I was crazy enough to ship my phone out to strangers who all of a sudden disappeared - I do not have a back up phone nor can I afford to go buy one for the week or two my phone will me gone.

I want my money back. I paid $75 for the glass. For all I know I may have to replace both the glass and the home button.

Review: On Monday, April 15th I brought my iphone 5 to this business to be repaired due to water damage. I talked to [redacted] who I was told is a manager of Quick I Repair. He guranteed he could replace everything in the phone except the screen for 100 dollars. He guranteed the phone would work fine but he could not promise what the screen would look like. I agreed to pay 100 dollars with the understanding that my phone would be functional again with possible visual defects in the screen. Later that day I returned to pick up my phone and the phone appeared to be functional. I asked [redacted] if it was working properly and he said the phone was fixed but the screen had minor visual defects. The screen was acceptable so I paid 100 dollars with the gurantee that the phone would function properly. As I left the mall I noticed the phone was not able to deliver text messages correctly. By the time I got home the phone was powering off on its on and I then decided to call the shop with my friends cell phone. I spoke a representative [redacted] and he explained that since I left the mall I was not going to receive a refund.Desired Settlement: I would like a 100 dollars refund for the service performed not fixing my iPhone. I did sign or agree to any policy. The manager [redacted] guaranteed he could replace everything on my phone except for the screen guaranteeing functionality.

Response:

[redacted] came to my kiosk on the 15th of April. He came in to get his iPhone 5 fixed from water damaged. It is said over and over again that I "guaranteed" his phone would be working perfectly after the repair. To that remark I can say that I never tell customers that I guarantee what I do will 100% fix their phone from water damage, due to multiple variables. Like: the phone may have been worked on previously, it could have water damaged the motherboard, which is unpredictable, and it is a complex piece of equipment so you can never be 100%. With that said, our company is very true to our work , and if we mess something up we will do everything we can to help them out. Whether it be to buy them a new phone, or put more parts in for no extra charge. I would have been somewhat sympathetic toward [redacted] if he hadn't come back to my store a couple days later and yelled at my employee giving him a hard time. I have witnesses of other locations that saw this saying, "It looked like he was about to trow a punch." I can't offer a refund due to the store policy. [redacted] was read the store policy upon his return. In the statement [redacted] also claims that when he came back to pick the phone up from the repair that I was the person that told him it was working perfectly, but I was actually gone for the day and my employee was the one who checked him out. I do apologize but he was well aware of the policy my company holds. The best I can do is a 50% refund of $50.
