Quick Quack Car Wash - Folsom Reviews (4)

Review: [redacted], Per our phone conversation earlier today, I am sending you the related emails to [redacted], ([redacted] manger), concerning the damage to my MBZ ML350. [redacted] called me shortly after we spoke. He stated you had decided not to pay for the damages. I am confused and concerned you did not mention this, at the time of our conversation. [redacted] had stated that after reviewing the camera's on sight, he had determined there was no apparent damage to the passenger side mirror. The necessary repairs would be made. During this conversation and others, I was repeatedly pressured to use a repair facility of his choice. I declined and stated it was unethical to do so. I would use the shop in which the estimate was generated; (see attachments). [redacted] also stated if I chose my own shop, the payment process would take much longer. At this time I would like to know your intentions. If you need additional information, contact me. If there are concerns relating to the estimate from B&J Body Shop, contact them at the numbers provided on the estimate. Regards,[redacted] At this point in time, I was told my vehicle would not be repaired.Desired Settlement: Repair damaged vehicle per estimate provided at my choice of repair facility.

Business

Response:

This mirror was not knocked off by the wash. The inner glass

came out in the middle of the wash. This suggests that something was broken

before he entered. [redacted] discussed sending him to our shop to see if we could

do something for him purely out of customer service. The customer refused and

was only interested in going to his body shop. At that point [redacted] denied the

claim. If the customer is willing to get us an estimate from our shop

or let us order one online we can do something for him.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

This is [redacted]'s statement to the Revdex.com:

By his own admission the car wash damaged my vehicle! How he ascertained my MBZ ML350 was pre damaged is mystifying at best. Equally disturbing, [redacted] insisted I use a repair facility of his choice, not mine. Look at the Ca. Ins. Code (758.5 in the enclosed attachment), and you will see this is against the code and unethical.

Business

Response:

[redacted] just spoke with the customer and the customer indicated he would be suing us. He has every right to do so. There is no further action or response required by us at this time.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

Like all of the other responses, this one too was meaningless and did not address their responsibility for the damage incurred on my MBZ ML350. All of my statements have been true and accurate and my witness will testify as required to all related matters. For onlookers, be aware of all Quick Quack Car Wash locations; possible vehicle damage, unscrupulous badgering to get your vehicle repaired at their facility, not yours and of course their determination to have you walk away from a problem that is clearly their responsibility.

Follow their response for more meaningless diatribe.

Review: Inspected my car within 2 hours of going to Quick Quack...had one chip of paint on a new vehicle..(Had gone to Quick Quack a few days before, but gave them the benefit of the doubt, as I really did not have a clue where it came from.) Have witnesses that can verify as we were looking at car together...Car remained in teacher parking lot (on Blue Ravine) until bell rang. (no one but staff are allowed in parking lot) Drove directly (1 mile) to Quick Quack on Blue Ravine..I went through their automated car wash. Automation stopped as cloths were on hood. I sat there for at least a minute and a half before the moving belts continued my car through the wash. I then drove a half block to Safeway to continue my errands. As I passed the front of my car, I found an additional 8 chips on the hood. Despite my contacts with several managers of the business, they continue to assert that it is NOT their fault, and that I must have done it on the one mile trip to their car wash. I have been yelled at, argued with, demeaned and there has been an insinuation that I did it somewhere else and am trying to blame it on them.Desired Settlement: I am absolutely willing to pay for the repair of the first chip, as I cannot prove where that came from. But I would like the additional 8 chips on the front of my car to be repaired back to the original look, as my car is only 6 months old, and I treat it like a baby.

Response:

Even

though the damage did not occur at our car wash, we would be willing to send

you to a body shop we work with and cover half the cost.

Please let us know.

Review: Complained to the manager about slow service and did not receive car wash.

On Saturday, May 4 at around 1 p.m. we pulled in for our usual Squeaky Clean wash and got in a line of 5 or 6 cars thinking it would move fast. After maybe 5 minutes it was obvious something was wrong as only 3 cars had gone through and there were cars lined up to the street behind us. The one attendant was soon joined by 2 more so we figured things would be speeding up but, it was not to be. The 3 girls all started chatting with the driver of the car in front of us. By this point I am irritated. I have been in line for at least 10 minutes and cannot even pull out and leave. After several more minutes I gave my horn a quick honk and got a very dirty look from two of the attendants - still the chat went on. The obviously irritated manager walked out coming to my window and apologizing, taking my order and going to see what the problem was. Finally, we entered only the car wash didn't work - no foam, spray, no rotating side brushes, no anything - we basically got pulled through a dead car wash for $8 even though the cars behind us and in front of us had no problem. Upon exiting the wash I had to wait again for the line to move so I could circle back around and find the manager but by this point there were so many cars in the parking lot it was impossible to stop and talk to anyone without blocking traffic completely. I sent an email to QuickQuack and they referred me to the manager who offered me a free wash for my trouble?Desired Settlement: I would like to see the employees reprimanded or fired. I believe that because I demanded service and got the girls in trouble with their manager I was the target of retribution in the form of no wash.

I would also like a formal apology and a full refund.

Business' Initial Response

I have already reached out to this customer with no response. I would be happy to discuss the incident and how we can regain the trust of this valuable customer.

Consumer's Final Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

I am not sure what that means. I have not been contacted other than the note from the store manager to which I did respond and got no reply.

Business' Final Response

This is your response. I have also emailed you twice now. I formally apologize and would love to have a conversation about this. Please call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX or leave me your phone number so that I can call you.

Review: Car got stuck on roller in quick quack folsom car wash. Car from behind slammed into rear bumper several times causing damage to rear bumper and hubcaps. Multiple attempts to resolve it with quick quack corporate office. They refuse to take care of the damages trying to blame it on the driver.Desired Settlement: Repaint rear bumper and replace both damaged hubcaps.

Business

Response:

Unfortunately this is a simple case of the customer turning the wheel and jumping the track. There is no other way for the car to "get stuck". We had video of her being loaded correctly just like the 700 other cars that day.We offered to pay half of the hubcap repair out out of a pure desire to go above and beyond, but they declined.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
