One of our company’s main activity is industrial diagnostics. In January 2016 we decided to buy a used infrared camera via the internet.
We found a seemingly appropriate instrument on eBay.com, the seller was the user named qsauctions.
Paypal had declined our payment by card after several attempts. In order to resolve this problem, we agreed with the seller in a wire transfer in advance paying method. This way we locked out ourselves from the eBay Buyer Protection Program. Unfortunatelly we trusted in the seller, because he had more than 12.000 feedback from his buyers, more than 99% of them are positive.
On 25th of February the seller has notified us that he has received the purchase price, 2.850 USD
After that he did not sent the purchased product, and did not transfer the money back, although we demanded it many times, both in via phone and e-mail.
Mr. Stephen Shake answered to our emails last time on the 31st of March 2016, three months ago and even on the phone promised to transfer the money back which he did not do so far.
He was simply kept the money.
I filed a police report and also filed a complaint to FBI Internet Crime Center.

A full refund of the original amount paid for the machine has been processed through the original payment method.  It may take a few days to be completed, but it has been started.  [redacted]

Review: I purchased a sewing machine from this company on [redacted] on 11/05/2014. The advertisement stated the machine worked. I paid $128.29 ([redacted]). When I got the machine, the machine motor and zipper foot worked. After threading the bobbin, I attempted to sew only to discover that the bobbin case was broken and unable to sew material. The company requested I go through them for a refund instead of filing through [redacted]. I returned the item as requested on 12/30/2014 paying $57.85 in shipping via [redacted] store. I contacted the president, [redacted], on 01/13/2015 to inquire if the product had been received. He confirmed that it was received. He stated that the product needed to be tested and he would call me back. We also discussed the issue of refunding the $57.85 shipping fee. After no return call, I called 01/19/2015 and was told that I would receive a refund. On 01/30/2015 I called to inquire about the refund and re-imbursement and was told that he would send me a check in the next several days. When I inquired about the shipping charge he said "he would see". I told him I was getting the run-around and was considering a complaint to Revdex.com and [redacted]...he hung up on me. When I called back, he wouldn't answer. I called back on my cell phone, an employee stated that [redacted] wasn't going to discuss this matter anymore.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded $128.29 for the broken product and $57.85 for the return shipping - total $187.13.

[redacted] (Quick Stop Auctions, Inc.) has not started the process of refund. My complaint through my [redacted] account has resulted in my [redacted] account legally taking the money from Quick Stop Auctions banking account . The money will be held for 30 days in order for [redacted]/Quick Stop Auctions to have the opportunity to dispute it. The money will be held for 30 days until March 17, 2015. I feel that [redacted] should be required to re-pay my shipping return cost for $57.85 due to false/fraudulent advertising. This was promised in the original phone call on 12/30/2014. This company and it's owner has acted in a fraudulent and threatening manner towards me and I suspect other customers. My [redacted] company has taken the legal steps to returning my money to my account because [redacted]/Quick Stop Auctions had no intention of returning my money to me. I want the additional charges paid to me as agreed.
