Review: I reserved a room on 11/**/15 with this company for Jan. ** for 2 nights at The [redacted] hotel in Las Vegas for 2 nights. I got a confirmation and my credit card was billed for the first nights stay. The day I was leaving I got a message from Onpeak that they cancelled my booking. I called back the office and was told they were over booked and had to cancel my reservation. I told them I was traveling with a 87 year old father who has [redacted] and can not switch to a different hotel as he is coming to a flooring exhibition and needs to be in the same building where the show is.

They told me we are sorry but there is nothing we can do but cancel your reservation. I had to leave my father home and miss all his business appointments and I had to start looking for a new place to stay.

I missed many appointments at the show and was living out of my car I rented with the suitcase there all day to set myself up.

I was told that [redacted] which is a sister company with [redacted] did not make all rooms ready for the convention they had to bump people from there partner hotels. I asked them how did you select who gets bumped and was told the one who only booked 2 nights will get booked before the one who booked 4-5 nights. My business trip was a total nightmare and I want to get compensated for loosing my sleep and my working daysDesired Settlement: I had to share a room with my friend in the [redacted] hotel and paid him $250.

for the night and also spent over $200 for food because I couldn't set up my room with Kosher [redacted] special food

Review: I booked a hotel via Travel Planners Inc for a conference. A $402 was charged by Travel Planners for deposit. I stayed at the hotel for 2 night and paid the hotel directly for those 2 nights. I have been requesting the deposit refund from Travel Planners since November 2014. I have sent them all the information that they requested for a refund. The company representatives refused to help me stating that only their [redacted] could help me. Their [redacted] sent me a few generally emails without resolving the issue and addressed me by a wrong name. It has been almost 2 months since I requested my refund and it is still not processed. Furthermore, I found it very frustrating that I was not able to speak with someone directly from the company regarding the refund. Their [redacted] has not responded to my email since early December. When I attempted to reach her via the phone, she was always not available. Her colleagues said she was the only one that could process the refund. I found this extremely irritating.Desired Settlement: The consumer is seeking a refund from the company.
