The contract sent to the customer for a missing signature was no different than the one presented at signing, and was approved as written The additional charges to the customer are a result of a difference in tax between where the vehicle was purchased and where the customer resides As
Washington State requires that the tax on leases is charged based on the residency of the customer rather than where it was purchased, Chrysler Capital adjusted the taxable amount to the correct amount without modification of the contract signed at our location Our dealership did not have control of this, nor were we responsible for the adjustment, nor was his contract changed
Despite this, we have attempted to reach out to the customer to resolve the issue The amount of difference in sales tax rates is minor, equaling less than eighty dollars over the term of the leaseWe would be happy to assist in offsetting this The customer may contact Garret C*** in order to have this accomplished The customer's license plates have been at the dealership awaiting him to pick them up A post card was sent to the customer notifying him of this

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: It is an unacceptable response by the dealership by stating they were unaware that their finance company would adjust the monthly lease payment due to taxes They sell hundreds, if not thousands of cars a year, so I'm more than confident that this is not the first time this has happened As I stated previously, I asked Garrett C*** on numerous occasions if I had anything to worry about regarding signing documents one to two weeks after the initial paperwork signing, and he repeatedly stated - without any hesitation - that I would pay what was stated on my lease agreement
Please have the dealer send the plates as I can't drive it without them It is also not a good business practice to let weeks go by knowing a temporary plate would expire without trying other means to contact me (the customer) I never received an email nor a voicemail to notify me that the plates have arrived It took several calls and emails to even get an answer from them about this This includes and is not limited to, their general manager (Scott G***) hanging up on me and no email responses from their owners and principal investors
There has been nothing offered in way of compensation regarding the time and suffering I've put into this situation For something as simple as getting an answer about my plates and information on my lease (including a welcome packet and payment due) it has taken this dealer over weeks At this point my compensation comes secondary to their future customers being aware of their unethical and deceptive business practices

I am rejecting this response because: The offers listed by Mr.Scott G*** were never communicated to me in personHis lack of communication and help as well as constant disrespect and accusations towards me and my family have been totally unprofessional and horribleI do not trust nor will ever do business with this company mainly due in part to the comments and words said to me bye ScottCompletely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and helpAs for having the truck looked at I didn't not have adequate time to have the truck looked over in the "24" hour period of time that was givenThey Failed to inspect the Block in their own inspection as read to me on November 2nd by one of the employeesThey continually pointed the finger at me claiming that I was to blameI thought I could trust this company but they have failed to do what is rightwilling to allow them to buy the truck back without purchase of another vehicleThis offer is Valid to January 15th of Also The GM can return my call I've attempted to put in to him.

If the customer feels that he has suffered or otherwise injured by the adjustment due to sales taxes, we may suggest that he contact Chrysler Capital, who was responsible for the adjustment In the meantime, his plates have been mailed to him well in advance of the expiration date of his temporary permit, and a check is being mailed for the difference in the sales taxed owed by him

Everything that the dealer stated is completely and it appears to be an attempt to keep their rating high on Revdex.com I never received a postcard stating that my plates arrived and furthermore, the dealer never emailed me to notify me that they had them in hand When the dealer needed me to sign a document that they forgot to have me sign, they had no problem sending an email, but failed to send notice regarding my plates arriving I also called them on numerous occasions and they always stated that they have not yet arrived
In reference to the difference in the monthly lease payment - I asked Garrett C*** on two different occasions if I had to worry about my lease payment changing since they needed me to sign documents after the initial lease signing The second request for a signature was a full two weeks after the initial signing If the price may change due to taxes, this is something I should've been notified about, however Garrett falsely made me believe the price would not change
Like I stated in my previous correspondence, they made me lose valuable time at work to get the documents back to them due to their negligence No efforts have been made in way of compensation for my time that I needed to take away from work to sort out their mistakes Lastly, when I called their general manager, Scott G*** in attempt to rectify the situation, he stated that "he was not going to be my Huckleberry", implying that by no means was he going to help me He then proceeded to hang up on me and then did not answer after a future attempt to discuss further

In regards to *** *** Complaint #***,
Mr*** entered the
dealership on or around September 24th expressing interest in a
*** *** truck, after driving and inspecting the vehicle *** decided that
he would like to move forward with the saleWe informed
him that we perform an
inspection that includes all safety items and addresses any drivability issues
that may require attention in order to bring the vehicle to a level an eighteen
year old vehicle with miles on it should be in After hearing of our inspection, Mr***
then decided to take the vehicle to someone we were made to believe was his
mechanic for further inspection After retaining
possession of the vehicle for more than twenty four hours he returned to our
store stating that the vehicle had received a clean bill of health from his
third party inspection and that he wanted to complete the saleWe agreed and
finalized all paperwork including the Disclaimer of Warranties Agreement as
well as the Buyers Guide or “As Is”See attached
On or about November 4th,
Mr*** returned to our dealership to express his concernAt this
point I personally inspected the area of concern and agreed that a crack
existed at that particular point in timeKnowing that he was planning to use
this vehicle for his honeymoon we allowed him to borrow a much newer truck with
more equipment and told him not to let this ruin his happy honeymoon and we
would work to resolve the issue upon his returnI believe there was some
confusion to when he was returning and I was personally out of town on business
so it took a couple of extra days for us to get togetherWe explored several
options including us giving him his full purchase price for his vehicle on
trade while lowering our sales price by several thousand dollars but this was
not sufficient for him and he refused the offerI offered to hold the same
deal for a future vehicle as it would give him the opportunity to find the
right replacement vehicle but he refused this offer as well. He has since ceased communicating
We look forward to resolving this matter but at no time have
we offered to replace the engine. As is
evident from his complaint, we made no warranties express or implied pertaining
to the vehicle and he clearly did not rely on any representations made by our
dealership as he took the vehicle for his own independent inspection. Despite the foregoing, we are willing to
extend the offer of another vehicle and allowing
him a full return of what he paid on his trade until January 15,
