First of all I would like to thank you for letting me explain my side story and taking a role of neutral third partyIt is highly appreciated
I have been working in catering for years at hotel and restaurant and years in the
business with compliments for my service I made but this is my first time to receive a complaint like thisMost of our customers are always coming back as they were satisfied with my service thus I don't make a contract, until I received a complaint from my new customer last Feb2014.As what she said we had agreed that the $for people is our service fee including food, breakdown, and giving them the leftover foodsYes that was true and we didHowever, about their complaint of putting away of all food for them to take home, we left all the foods that was for themAll the services I made, I let my customers to provide their own bagging things for their foodWhen they asked me where to get bagging things I told them this way, you can buy at Safeway .As a result, I gave them $for their expenses when they went to the storeRegarding the flies and uncovered foods, we cannot control flies coming in at the community centerIs it professional to cover the foods while their visitors were busy wrapping the foods? I know it is not right that is why we didn't coverConcerning the poi, I made a plain taro
days after the wedding she went down to confront me and I welcomed her and listened to her concerns about my serviceOn the other hand, I told her that they were supposed to complain at the wedding reception when we were still there, neither called me when we were gone nor coming down the day right after the wedding .I thought they can do that because they even thanked me for the good foods in the middle of the event so I really thought everything was alrightI didn't tell exactly that her family and her maid of honor are liars, she told me that her family and maid of honor saw me bagging and taking away food, but I said I didn'tHence she asked me this way u mean my family and maid of honor are liars so I answered yah because I was not lying tooThe reason why I told her that we can cater again if they have a party is just to make up for them by giving cheaper price and making them satisfiedThis time we will see to it that they will be happy for our service
In conclusion to this, the $(payment for people) settlement that they are asking to give them back, I don't think it is a lawful decisionWhat about my expenses to buy foods and to pay my staffs, my time, and my effort, does she mean free? I know I did my best to do my job but if I didn't make them happy and unsatisfied, I do apologize

I am very unsatisfied with his answerHe did not give us $dollars to go and buy anything, we had to go to my mother in laws house to get suppliesHe gave me $when I confronted him at his business saying this was for the service fee that they charge and he was going to originally give $but $was all he had in his drawer at that timeI would not misinform anyone about something like this because I was not raised to cause trouble, but to always tell the truthWho in their right mind will complain at a wedding reception when it is suppose to be a celebrationI still feel he is dishonest with this whole thingHe even admitted that the poi we paid for came from Costco and they did not make itHe only admitted this after I pushed for an honest answerAt no time during the reception did he check on us to get feedback which he said was his fault when I confronted him at his businessI stick by my story 100% and I am just sorry that he feels that he is telling the truthBagging left over pieces of chicken surely is not enough to cover the even with people going back for secondsThe fact is that we only had about people show up, so this is why my husband and I cant understand why the rest of the food for the amount we paid for was not thereI give him credit for trying to make a colorful excuse letter, the fact remains that he was dishonest and will not take responsibility for his actionsThank you for taking the time in letting me respond
