Mr. M[redacted] came in for an oil change for his 1976 Mercedes Benz that he had just purchase. He stated to me ([redacted]) that he saw my technician opening the oil containers and that he told him not to leave the caps under the hood. When he came in months later he told R[redacted] (Owner) that my technician left three caps under the hood, and that he couldn't open it, and he stated he had to break the grille to open the hood to be able to check his oil. He stated to me he called a towing company and they couldn't even open it. He was told he might have to break the grille by the towing company. R[redacted] asked Mr. M[redacted] why didn't he call US first or bring the vehicle to us so we could inspect the hood for him before he broke it. Mr. M[redacted] told R[redacted] just to pay for the damages. Raui asked him to bring the receipts so we could submit it to our insurance, receipts were never brought in, Also asked for the towing company report and he said it was a friend. I told him that if he put a call to the towing Company they should have a report on file. I called my insurance agent (Angi Mitchell) and she told me just have him submit a claim to his insurance and they will get in touch with ours. We asked him to put a claim through his insurance and they would contact our insurance. He came in sometime in July and left his insurance phone number and when (R[redacted]) called to ###-###-#### and spoke to Mr. Luis Gonclaves at AAA to ask if Mr. M[redacted] had opened a claim. He didn't have any idea of what I was calling about. There was no claim reported to the insurance company as of July. We are still waiting for his insurance to contact our as of 8/12/16.
