This customer initially came in on Monday, January 22nd stating she had went to another salon and was unhappy with her hair. The stylist performed a consultation with the guest, in which it was explained what service was going to be performed and what techniques and colors that were...
going to be used. The stylist informed the guest she was going to stretch down her dark (natural color) to blend the light and the dark. In order to make that process look as natural as possible, she needed to add low lights through her ends, while also going in and highlighting to brighten up the blonde she previously had. The stylist also suggested the client receive a haircut due to the condition of her hair from previous color services, but she declined, replying she cuts her own hair. When the consultation was completed the client agreed with the service and booked an appointment for Saturday, January 27th. When the client arrived for her appointment the process was explained to her once again before her hair service started. The stylist proceeded to perform the Balayage service. The stylist again suggested the client receive a haircut which was declined once again, so the stylist performed a complimentary conditioning treatment. The client paid for the service which totaled $120 and left the stylist a $15 dollar tip. The client then stated she was not happy with her hair and demanded her money back, so her stylist offered to fix the areas she was not happy with on Monday, January 29th. The salon as per policy does not give cash refunds. We do however perform any service needed to get our guest to their desired result should an issue occur and they are not happy. When the client came in on January 29th she demanded her money back once again and wanted the dark low lights through her ends removed and lightened. The client was informed of our refund policy. The client then agreed to the stylist performing another service to change what she was not happy with. The stylist again advised the client that after this service she recommended a haircut again but the client declined. After the stylist removed all low lighted areas, she toned the hair to remove any warmth. This color service is non invasive and is a tonal altering glossing/conditioning color. The stylist then again performed a deep conditioning treatment. With all of the services preformed on the client her hair was slightly dry but was not at all compromised to the point of falling out. Which is why the stylist was so persistent in suggesting the client receive a haircut and why the stylist performed 2 complimentary conditioning treatments. The end result was as close to the picture as the clients hair allowed.
