The Real Estate Data X-Change is a
lead generation service that takes the customers Real Estate Expired properties
from their MLS and transforms them into usable leads by providing tax owner
information and phone numbers. The
customer purchased this service on 6/24/through a sales
representative and
was immediately transferred to a customer support representative for assistance
in getting startedThe customer was interested in acquiring data from years
ago which is feasible with our software but is limited by the limitations of
the customers MLS. The customer support
representative attempted to help the customer learn how to do this but the
customer got angry and felt we had misled her.
We listened to the sales call and the Sales Rep let her know we can pull
in leads in the way her MLS is able to and did not mislead the customer in
anyway. There is nothing our company can
do about the limitations of the MLS, a 3rd party software, but our team does
everything they can to help our customers acquire the leads they desire
We pride ourselves on listening to
our customers and treating them fairlyThe customer was not willing to hear
any more from the support representative, told them that they would file a
complaint, and hung up. Because the
customer requested a refund the same day as signing up, we can make an
exception and refund this customer’s payment of $A manager had attempted
to contact the customer to discuss this on separate occasions with no
response

available in a public record and could be used by any data provider. Our service strives to find the best possible

matches to provide to our customers as Real Estate leads to prospect
toWe have removed the phone number provided from our system to prevent any
further agents from downloading leads with that number. Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve
information that has already been downloaded and could have been printed out,
etc.
We
are not the only ones in our industry who provide this information. We have several other competitors that can
provide this same information. We can guarantee
that our system will no longer give out the provided contact information but we
cannot control what other companies in our industry do

REDX is a lead generation company that offers research services to real estate agents. Real estate agents use our services to research owner information for properties that have been listed for sale. We use public information such as tax records for our research. We also use data providers to find...

the phone numbers that are associated with the property. These data providers are federally regulated and legally required to only provide phone numbers that come from publicly available sources. REDX takes data protection very seriously and although we only collect data from reputable and regulated sources, we also internally maintain a “blacklist” whereby any person can call us and we will flag their phone number so that it will no longer be provided as part of any search using the REDX system. We will do this regardless of whether or not the phone number provided was correctly associated with the property in question.In Cybrina’s case, she was not listed as the owner of the property, but her information was listed as being “attached" to the property (this can happen for many reasons including, for instance, if a person is identified as a former tenant). When she called into our help line we placed her information on the blacklist, meaning that our systems are no longer capable of providing her information when a request is made.Unfortunately, we operate in a very competitive environment and there are many other companies that provide similar competing services. Even though when the REDX blacklists a number, we will no longer give out that number, the person may continue to receive phone calls from users of our competitors’ services. This will be the case because, as I mentioned above, the data is collected from publicly available sources. We have already done everything that we can for Cybrina by taking her phone number completely (and permanently) out of our systems and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that it has caused her.
