Hi OK the Reconyx if so called company is tryingTo back there camera theft story up by showing an email I had sent almost a year before I had purchased this cameraThat is supposedly in (police custody) I talked with the police and they stated reconyx is shipping the camera backWhich means reconyx still has the cameraI have emails stating from reconyx that the camera was never registered or reported stolenSo they are using this (one) email that was sent months beforeAnd if they look at the paper I sent with the camera (THEY WOULD SEE THE CODE)But some people in this world think they know allAnd has to scam there customers for a buck or twoSo I am done arguing with this untruest worthy companyIf you look online there are allot of story's saying reconyx treats there customers horriblyI have the R/A paper with the code lock and all the info on itOne more thing iv tried calling and emailing them to work things out and to possibly order a new camera sense I wont get this one backbut maybe I wont because there acting like kidsI will put my experience on every website I can so people know how they treat there customersThanks Revdex.com for your time I appreciate it

The camera is currently in police custody, and *** is a primary suspect in a pending criminal investigation. Reconyx cameras come equipped with an optional security code, which is designed to prevent theftWe do not, under any circumstance, unlock a camera unless proof of ownership can
be provenIf an original sale receipt cannot be provided, the camera is held for days and checked against our ‘Stolen Camera Database’. In the interest of protecting our customers’ investments, our personal investigation revealed that *** contacted us inquiring a “universal unlock code” within days of the camera being reported stolen (See attached email).
