welcome the opportunity to respond. According to our records, your Reflex MasterCard account was opened on December 9, 2016. On March 8, 2017, you entered an online payment in the amount of $100.00. However, this payment returned due to no account/unable to locate. As a. result, a $37 .00 late fee assessed to your account. On March 16, 2017, we sent correspondence advising that your charging privileges were revoked. The correspondence also stated that if you were using the automatic payment feature, it would be discontinued until the account was brought current. Please note that we did not completely block your online access. On April 10, '.!O I 7, you spoke with a representative from our Customer Service Department regarding your account and made a payment in the amount of$140.00. At this time, your account was brought current and the revoke was lifted. On May 12, 2017, you entered an online payment in the amount of$50.00, but the payment returned again due to no account/unable to locate. As a result, a $35.00 late fee was assessed to your account. On May 25, 2017, you contacted our Customer Service Department to inform us 111at the online payments were not being taken from your bank account and applied to your Reflex MasterCard. We attempted to explain the reason that the payments were not processing and as a courtesy, refunded the $3 7.00 and $35.00 late fees that had assessed to your account. An.other online payment in the amount of$50.00 was entered on June 2, 2017, which returned as no account/unable to locate. On June 26, 2017 you contacted our Customer Service Department again and spoke with a supervisor regarding the returned payments. During that call, we explained that the account number being entered is coming back as invalid account. We offered to t.ake a payment over the phone. At that time, you elected to make a $50.00 payment, which posted to your account on June 27, 2017. Since the payment was received after your due date, a $37.00 late fee was assessed to your account. In order to ensure that your online payments are processed correctly, we recommend that you delete the current account information and reenter your banking information. If you need assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department at [redacted] and a representative will be happy to walk you through the process of updating your payment information, Our representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday 7:00am to l O:OOpm EST, and Saturday 9:00am to 1 :OOpm EST. You can also make payments by calling our Customer Service Department or by mailing in a payment to Surge, [redacted]3292. Please include t11e full 16 digit account number on any mailed payments and mail all payments at least seven (7) days prior to the due date. In light of the difficulties you have experienced in making online payments, we have refunded the $37.00 late fee that assessed in June 2017. The refund will be reflected on your next monthly billing statement. Furthermore, according to our records, your account was only reported as thirty days late in April 2017. As a courtesy due to your online payment issues, we have removed that negative payment history and your account will be reported as current. The updates will be reported to your credit file upon your next cycle date.
