I am rejecting this response because:   We were never told there was no guarantee of the trees; we were simply handed a receipt after we paid. Half of the landscapers we contacted give 1 year guarantees on trees they plant. We watered them according to Connor Riedel's advice.  Some of the dead trees started dying BEFORE the truck came into our yard for our pool so that excuse  of Connor Riedel's is ridiculous. ALL of the landscapers we contacted said trees of that size can be planted 4 feet on center apart from each other and in fact our trees were planted over 4 feet on center apart from each other. We are pursuing further action against Connor Riedel unless he compromises with us.

This is in regards to planting ten mature leyland cypress trees , whenIplanting trees theres always a risk that they will not survive. When planting more mature trees that are approximately 10 years old the risk is even greater. As a landscaper I do not guarantee plant material because theres so...

many variables that have to be accounted for , for example leaving the responsibility of watering the trees properly to homeowner. Another good example of that would be especially important for this case was that the homeowner was putting in a pool and also had a lot of heavy machinery going right next to the trees and compacting the soil pore space , this affects the trees in a negative way for that the roots are unable to uptake as much water. [redacted] understood at time of planting that there was no guarantee of any sorts provided with planting these 10 leyland cypress trees and decided to proceed with the job knowing the risks associated with planting such mature trees.
