I am rejecting this response because: the power steering pump is directly below the actual leak The power steering pump was not faulty, they do not fail In a year period of time The leak was misdiagnosed and unneeded work was done

[redacted] had her car into us the first time and we replaced a seal on the power steering pump to see if we could not have to replace the expensive repair of the pump itself. It then leaked again, we replaced the seal to be sure that the seal was not a bad part, it then leaked again we told her in order...

to fix the leak of power steering fluid that the pump would need to be replaced, she agreed.  She then came back about a week later, with an oil leak and we attemped to take her back to show her where the leak was, she declined. The power steering pump indeed was leaking. We understand that she had replaced it back in 2014 but, she could have very well had a faulty part on her vehicle. Customer agreed to pay the amount and agreed to have the part replaced. We even discounted the amount of the seal off of her power steering pump because the seal did not fix the problem. Customer then decided to go to the dealer because, she felt we did not know how to do our job. We tried multiple times to have the customer come back into the shop and look at the items that were leaking so she could see for herself and she declined. We apologize if there was miscommunication somewhere but, the customer indeed needed to replace her power steering pump.
