My review of Resurgence Financial is that [redacted] the owner, Hoard of thugs buy cheap old debts that companies sold to them for pennies on the dollar, and they flip it and sue the heck out you for the Max amount originally owed, which was written off by the original owner of the debtthey are legalbut slippery, legal crooks, and a really BIG, MAJOR Bank does NOT LIKE THEM EITHER GREEDThis guy is gonna fry somewhere very hot, where we aren't going to be My opinion, is: They belong on a different planet, not with the human race

I just spoke with someone by the name of Noel *** in customer service at Reurgence Fianancial, LLC I requested payment envelopes to mail my monthly payment to the legal Group He was very rude and suggested that I was not capable of looking up the address to mail my payments I have been mailing my payments to them for almost a year and I realized how much easier it would be if I had envelopes
I know that they are only debt collectors, but that has no bearing on being rude to a customerAnd a simple request like payment envelopes I did not feel warranted the response that treatment that I received

This complaint involves a wage deduction order that was entered by the court June 25, 2012. On August 8, 2014, the judgment balance was paid in full. The employer has continued to send funds despite the balance being paid. The employer...

is responsible for paying out funds pursuant to the Wage Deduction Order (no more and no less).
The employer has been given multiple notices of the balance to be paid:
(1) The Wage Deduction Order contains the balance as of the date of the order.
(2) The employer has been sent quarterly balance letters since the garnishment began in 2012.
(3) All funds that have been paid in excess of the balance have been returned to the employer as they have come in along with a letter stating that the judgment has been satisfied.
If his employer continues to send funds despite the judgment having been paid, our office will return said checks. We are in agreement that the judgment is paid. If they continue to withhold funds, he should lodge a complaint with his payroll department.
We are happy to discuss and work with Mr. [redacted] if his employer continues to withhold funds.

I talked with my employer and it is their fault for the over garnishment so im not faulting you for that, but its been weeks and they say that they haven't received the money back from the over payment

On August 8, 2014, Mr. [redacted]' balance was $7.97.
On August 8, 2014, our office received a check from Mr. [redacted]' employer - check number XXXXXX - in the amount of $94.37 resulting in an over payment of $86.40. On August 21, 2014, we issued a check to Mr. [redacted]' employer for the overpayment - in the amount of $86.40 (our check # XXXXX).
In addition to the check that paid the balance and resulted in an overpayment, our office has received three other checks from the employer, all of which have been sent back to the employer uncashed:
Check number [redacted] ($152.19) - sent back to employer 8/20/14
Check number [redacted] ($134.76) - sent back to employer 8/20/14
Check number [redacted] ($92.12) - sent back to employer 9/9/14.

Citizens beware: if you pay a debt off that Resurgence has been retained to collect on, they will go after any other creditors that they can see you owe money to. I just paid a debt that Resurgence was retained to collect, and they sought out another creditor that had a judgement against me and came after me. Be warned that if you pay any debt they represent, that they will pursue your other debts. Predatory.
